'bout the best darn Star Wars figure I've bought all year. Seriously, this guy is loaded with articulation and has a style that's not too animated, so it works with "realistic" SW collections. I haven't put this guy down all day since I got him. I hope Hasbro starts making Battle Droids with this style/amount of articulation. Battle Droids are always hit or miss, but if they made them like this guy, they'd score a definite home run and have me buying tons of them. The Assassin Droid sports hinged feet, hinged knees, ball-jointed hips, torso swivel, hinged hands, cut wrists, ball-jointed elbows, ball-jointed shoulders, and a swivel neck. All in a rail-thin robot figure. To add to all that coolness, he's got a backpack that stores his two blasters.

I have one as well. Hands down one of the best droids the SW line has produced and it doesnt feel as flimsy as most of the IG series droids.

I got two of them last weekend. He's very poseable, even having hinged claws. He's cool, and makes me look forward even more to the Greivous's Bodyguard droids. The BATs are going to have a lot of buddies.

I am curious, if you knock off his head, you could make a ton of generic sci fi robots, right>?

Maybe at long last a bender figure, :)

Is he rare or will I actually see him in stores?

I've seen a bunch of him. He's a great base for all kindsa robots, and a perfect starting point for a 3 3/4th figure of Scud: The Disposable Assassin. I wish his backpack/gun holder thing worked a bit better, and the articulated claw hands are nice, but make it tough for him to hold some things, still, he's super impressive.

I finally got the Grevious everyone was going on and on about. I must admit, that is a cool figure, but can't stand no matter how hard you wish for it to happen.

Now this figure? This looks like the next must-have from the Star Wars lines.
