The guy who wrote the article seems to eb a Joe fan, but he should know that the Night Raven drone is based on a real life design. So thats not a good reason to include it in the list.

But the dudes hanging off things is a great comment. I never really thought about it before.

Okay, I didn't find the attempted humor especially funny, and the choices were ridiculous.

The Night Raven doesn't belong on this list, and neither does the Rattler. Frankly, I question MOST of his choices.

Honestly, I'd question whether there are 20 Joe vehicles that even qualify as "stupid", but any such list, humorously intended or otherwise, that doesn't put the Buzz Boar, the Pogo, the Rat, and especially the Earthquake in the top four, is missing the mark.

I'll allow for the Mamba only because I had to modify the angle of the rotor blades on mine to get the thing to work as advertised.

Well a few of them are just funny comments. They don't explain why the vehicle is dumb.
#10 is the worst. The Hydrofoil is a great vehicle with a conceivable design given toy, proportion, and joe standards. All he mentions is the obvious which is Cobra can't shoot.

The other point is yes, while most of these are based on real world design there is a point to be made that they are not practical even by toy standards. The Mamba being #1 IMHO.

The Snowcat has no business on the list either.

As for hanging off the sides of the vehicle I think this actually has real world applications because if you watch most documentaries, and even war flicks, soldiers naturally do this so they don't have to walk. It won't protect them from getting shot at but it beats walking.
A military person may know more but hanging off the side of a vehicle is not exactly illogical or not-practical, and also it looks hella cool.
