I like that Duke. The colours are cool and it doesn't look like he has "duke arms" and it would give me an opportunity to pick up that CC I passed on in the Tripwire comic pack.

Let them do crap like that to keep all those stupid characters on the shelves. We can happily skip that leave that set for the kids to hardly buy and we can have more slots for good characters in the single pack waves.

I kinda like Storm Shadow and I prefer that darker colored Cobra Commander to the comic pack one. :-/ Anyone getting the set for Duke and Snake Eyes? :shifty:

I'll take the Duke. If we find someone to take the Snake Eyes we can have a team up!

I notice on the site that shall not be named that everyone seems to think it is a VvV-inspired set (and the package art certainly suggests as much), even though the figures are clearly JvC homages. I bet that the Spy Troops movie is on the pack-in DVD.

If the set doesn't cost too much, I'd like to get one, since I was a fan of the JvC-era figures.

Snake Eyes - Personal win, I havent gotten that version of snake eyes and desided resently he would make killer fodder and his accessories are mega useful to me.
Duke - I liked the JvC line and the new take on Duke interests me
Stormshadow - hmmmm fodder ben.. Maybe hollow out his head.. been thinking about doing that and making an Unmasked SS..
Cobra Commander - Hes not gold so I like it. I will probably take his silver accessories and put them on the darker comic pack figure and toss the rest in the fodder ben.

Spy troops movie?? - Well I loaned mine to my kids and have not seen it in a couple years a replacement would be nice...

Over All - While useful its not really a must have.

if anyone ever wanted the top four repainted/remaind characters in the history of this toy brand in one convenient box set - THIS would be the set.

:taters: y'know I wish we could get a box set of just one more version of our four favourite characters
:pluv: I think :hasbro: just answered your prayers! :hawknana:
:nova: there goes the planet :balloon_hasbro:

Beyond lame. The figures don't match the art (which is itself recycled) and the figures themselves (aside from Duke ironically) aren't radically different enough from earlier versions to warrant owning. Does this set contain a piece of the MASS device?

I'm going to pass on this one.I have enough of these figures to build a clone army.I do want the dvd,but I can pick it up on ebay.
Why does Hasbro fill the need to keep repainting these guys?Hell, they have made enough money from me to buy molds for new ones.
The store I work at is still full of the M.A.S.S. device sets.I haven't noticed one missing since they were stocked several months ago.
WTF Hasbro?

Duke isn't bad, Storm Shadow isn't bad but not as good as Duke. Snake Eyes isn't great, Cobra Commander is just a Comic Pack repaint. Yeah I don't understand why they went out of their way to make Duke look good and like the art but the rest of them are just thrown in. Storm Shaow is painted to look like the picture, but is still way off and doesn't have the right head. Snake Eyes isn't even close at all. Cobra Commander is like putting a picture of Scarlett on there but pack in Cover Girl. I'd have jumped on the set if they all were accurate.

I kinda like it, I'll keep it MIB but its a nice tribute to JVC, which was a large line yet sucked so bad.

Maybe I can make a wall of era's. Hopefully Star brigade and ninja Force are next!!1!

I like the idea behind the set... but... other than Duke... It's pretty lame.

Stormshadow should have used the Legions version but painted like the card art (I don't think they ever did one that matched the card art with the aquamarine highlights)
Snake-eyes is alright but he's hust a gray version 3.
Cobra Commander would have been petter helmeted with "LASER BLAST" highlights like the VvsV version.

I understand why they went with the designs that they did, for the figures. Most of them (except Duke) look quite a bit like their first wave t-crotch JvC figures did.

The part that confuses me is why they used VvV art to represent the "relaunch JvC" versions? :-/
