After being teased all those years ago by Palisades, it looks like Playmates got ahold of the license and look what scale they happen to be using.

Playsets, vehicles, and robots! I just hope they put some effort into the sculpts/articulation. This ought to be a line with a ton of custom potential.

I'll reserve judgment until I see the product. Playmates can be a mixed bag when it comes to figures. And a Skynet Playset has a lot of potential...but again, it's wait-and-see.

On the flipside, I assume this means we will eventually get land and air HKs...which is nothing but a good thang.

Pity none of the figures are likely to look like Ahnold. Unless the Salvation license covers the previous films too, but even then I think Schwarzenegger has separate likeness rights (which is why the Mc Farlane Movie Maniacs T-800 had a battle damaged face, though they did make T3 T-800s with Arnold's likeness). Anyway, it'd be great to get a 3 3/4th Schwarzenegger, hell, a decent 6in one (that isn't a brick) is cool too. Dunno if we'll get it though. This does mean we have a shot at a decent 3 3/4th Christian Bale though, depending on what route Playmates decides to go with the sculpt anyway. Looking forward to seeing what they have come Toy Fair.
