Phase 2 of my 'Ultimate' Airtight:

Head: Some stunt bike guy
Hands: Mirage vX
Everything else: Airtight v1

I hollowed out the helmet, lined it with craft foam, gave him better hands with swivel wrists, gave him swivel feet and replaced the molded on hose on the torso with a 3-d hose. I know toon fans may not like the head, but it works for the way I see the character.

DOC

My first attempt at using Nova's arm swap method. Went pretty good, though one of the arms did break at the shoulder, but snapped right back together.

Head: Doc
Lower arms: Roadblock v1
Everything else: Cutter

I like the head idea for Airtight, I think it fits quite well with the behavior of the character in the comics. However, I think the neck is to long and it being exposed would sort of negate the whole airtight aspect of the suit.

Very cool J... though...to be honest I really hate that head and its overly long pencil neck. other than the head Airtight is looking quite awesome.

Doc looks good too...those light blues can be tricky. Spirit, Cutter, Shipwreck, and Chuckles... All shirts and arms that are great for swapping on...all the same plastic that can get really brittle if its sunfaded to any degree.

Doc's good, the arm swap worked well.

As the other's have said, Airtight could stand to lose a fraction off of the neck, then he'd be pretty much perfect (though the green of his hair is a bit disconcerting as it's the same shade as green stuff almost so it looks 'unpainted' to me).

Love Airtight's new head and all the mods, but yeah like everyone said he needs to lose some neck length.

As for Doc... well, I just don't understand why you put him in a coast guard attire...

I did the Doc for my Flagg.

Yea, Airtight's neck is a bit longish... especially when you get the helmet on, huh? I can work that out. I need to figure out a fix for that anyway, before I move on to the next phase.

Is it the entire head, or just the hair color, Nova? I like the freaky hair color a bit, but I may be able to do something with it... Especially since I agree with Moto, it DOES look like unpainted green stuff.... :\

I dig 'em both.
As far as Airtight goes- Just pop the head off, take the neck down a bit, and you'll be fine. With the hair color, you could repaint the chin yellow, and also paint yellow streaks in the hair to make it look like he has green highlights.

I'll have to echo the sentiments about Airtight's neck, and I also have another suggestion... add something to the neck to make it look like it is part of the suit, and paint it yellow. Also, add a clear plastic visor to cover the exposed eyes. An NBC trooper shouldn't have any exposed skin as it would be quite deadly.

Very nice start, Airtight is an often overlooked character for customs, but this one is shaping up nice. As for the neck, you could sculpt a nice collar on the neck peg, or just paint it.

I always like seeing established characters with a new look , so I really enjoy Doc. Good stuff.

Love the head on Airtight, gives him a lot of personality.

Nice work on Doc. Never realized before how fat that head looks though.

Wowboy brings the wisdom of truth to his critique and snakes the words right out my head. File down the neck, maybe sheath it in some black rubber from a stretchy balloon, and you'll be all set.

The LBC nautical Doc is pretty inspired.
