Hey gang.

Back after a while, am hoping to get some input.
I've seen this before, but have been unable to find it. One of my current ideas is to transpose the texture of the Long Range 91 torso onto a 87 Jinx torso. Basically, a female Long Range Torso is the goal. I've heard about some kind of flexible epoxy that you can put in a mold of the part and then glue to the female torso. Someone did something similar with a CG torso. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks
Talon

You've got a couple rather simple options to do this.

Quickest is to make a Push mold of the Long Range Torso. Basicly you'll push the torso into somthign like Clay, or Sculpy or Greenstuff. Once you have this and it's dryed or hardend you've got a mold.

you then brush or smear on some elmers glue to make a thin casting of the mold...and then once it's try the elmers glue is still flexable enough to be fitted to the jinx torso.

You would then prolly want to Cast the Womanized Long Range torso, just so it's more durablet than the Elmers glue.

Edit: Lance Sputnik points our a Thread at FFURG in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9842

2nd option...and you'll need basic Casting Kit and skills to do it.

Mout the Long Range torso in a mold box and pour some Silicon Rubber over it. Once that's cured you'll have your molds. After which you can pour a bit of resin into the mold to pick up the detail...but swirl it around so it's just a thin layer and not a solid chunk. Once the Resin has cured (If using Alumilite about 15 min) you can demold it...and it will still be flexable. That would be when you shap it to the Jinx torso. Once it's fully cured (1-4 hrs with Alumilite) You'll have a shell ready to be glued to your torso...I'd use a 2 part epoxy so it fills any gaps between your detailed shell and the front of the jinx torso.
