Only had to pay $3.39 a gallon for gas today--that's a 20 cent drop from what it was Friday.

Got paid, when I wasn't sure I would.

Completed a custom I've been working on bit by bit for weeks, and not only did it come out good, but the cape I chose for it ended up being a perfect fit! :-)

New Joe preorders from BBTS are coming almost faster than I can keep up. Its getting to be like Christmas 2 or 3 days a week lately. Its fun checking my email and wondering what stuff is coming out this time :D

My Wave 1 Combat Heroes preorder is available and shipping in a couple days. LOVE those little guys!

My girlfriend is VERY cool with my hobby. She calls my 25th Joes "my guys" and when we go to Target she asks if I want to go look for "my guys" and points out stuff I might like and ask if its in "my scale" (I pointed out to her the different scales between the Dark Knight, Marvel Legends, Joes/SW etc ... I trained her well) Yeah I got a keeper here.

Hmm, first the B.A.T. and the dvd packs, full to the brim with joy for them.

And today, I found the entire ares wave at WM, passed on them because I just don't think they are worth it.

Also, found a ton of battle armored CC figures at retail this past week.

20 percent off both the new dvd packs and free shipping.

and stacked high above all of these, my little son squealing with joy when I play with him, :)

I've met both Brenden and Scrams and Scrams actually has the edge on size.

Which I guess should be another sunshiny thing for Ryan.

My wife is incredibly awesome and I love her more than anything, and I think we truly understand eachother. A couple of times I've noticed that we slip into 'Crimson Twin' conversation stlye, where we not only can finish each other's sentences, but we have handed sentences back and forth a couple of times. It's really great to have that kind of a connection.

I came home from work last night and found on my kitchen counter 9 Doctor Mindbender figures from Python Viper - 9!!! Including one MOC! Woo! :D

Also, I know I've expressed some frustration lately, but I am REALLY digging the Indiana Jones toys. They are a lot of fun to play with, and it's been something that I've wanted for a really long time, so it's really cool to finally have the toys that we got.

25A comic packs. Some of these figures are the ones I've gotten the most excited about. Wild Weasel and Copperhead in particular had me really looking forward to them and they did not disappoint once I found them. Firefly/Stormshadow is a great set too.

25A Snow Serpent really, truly lives up to his legacy. GREAT figure.

I love that I have had such cool groups of Joe fans over to my place this year, not once, but TWICE!

The Star Wars Build a Droid parts... FINALLY a SW pack in that is not only not completely useless, but super cool too!

Legendary Heroes Build-a-Pitt... This is the first BAF that I have completed, and man is it cool looking! His legs don't stay on too well, but he is still rock n roll.

It has also been a highly unique and fun experience hosting Nova's Crystal Army in my basement... They are litterally crawling all over my Defiant complex, booster and shuttles, and they amuse me.

First of all, I'll say this thread is a great idea.
Some rays of lights through the complaint clouds is very nice.

Joe related I'd say that the current line makes me very happy. Its very exciting to see the characters that filled my childhood with so many hours of adventure being updated au gout du jour. I'm very pleased (I feel spoiled actually) with what's going on.
Keep 'em coming.

Life wise, I couldn't ask for more. I like my job and I love my girlfriend who is so understanding at the point of even renaming some Joes.

Winter is coming. YAY! I can't wait to see the city covered in white snow and sparkling ice once more.

My 30th birthday is coming up and I'll have all my closest friends together at the same time. It'll be a blast!

So many things, where to begin?

1. JCConNorth- One of the best times I've had in a long time, well worth the 36 hours round trip travel time. Lance and Amazon Girl were awesome hosts, and the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame was great, just remember if you go, there's more than one floor of stuff to see!

2. Doing a show again- In November, I'm going to do my first comic/action figure show in over four years, and it will be the first time my son will be helping me. He's already gotten a shoe box full of baseball cards together and has sold some to the neighbor kids!

3. 25th Joes- I just flat out love this line! I finally got around to displaying them, and seeing them lined up makes me want to run out and buy more! I was lucky enough to snag a Firebat and the two DVD packs for 20% off and free shipping, and I just found out today they are shipping! I can't wait to get them.

Are you doing a smoking jacket version yet? The Mindbender-at-the-Mansion?

Makes note to self: Must finish work on the Dreadnok Army to amuse Sputnik.

I have to say that another ray of sunshine is the people here at joecustoms. I talk to people at work all the time about the great work that is done, the creativity, and the underlying homo-eroticism (OK, I'm lying about the last one-really).

I really appreciate the time I can be on here and the stuff I learn and see. Then there is the help and knowledge of others. There is no post counts or ranking, everyone is equal (in that beav looks down on all of us-j/k).

I was contacted the other day by someone outside the country who has extras of a certain item I'm looking for. He offered to hook me up with his unneeded extras. That just shocked me, because it was so unexpected. I appreciate that.

This is a great community of people, friends, and Chief's foes...
