The Rhino IS awesome, but I wish they had left out the helicopter gimmick and just given it more room for troops. That's why I'd like to get the Chap Mei rip-off (that, to my knowledge, has yet to be released stateside), as I think they skipped the chopper part.

The RHINO is a great vehicle. Lots of rooms for troops, play features, modular accessories, and in a fairly compact size. I'd say one of the best vehicles in the joe line ever.

I agree for all of those reasons. Maybe not top 10 for me but it would be close. Like maybe 11 or 12.

Let's not forget that it was also based on the Marines craft from Aliens. That gives it even better standing. I have it loaded wth the Mega Marines with Space SHot piloting the helicopter.

The only downside this vehicle has for me is there's no leg room in the front cockpits for 25th Joes. Other than that its chock full of win and covered in awesome sauce.

I do agree on the Helicopter part, though. Im trying to get ahold of a fourth Rhino, so I can customize it to a "Colonial marines" version of a troop carrier. (the first three are filled with Night force customed troops.

Yeah, that's why I don't own a Rhino. But I'll get me one of those Chap Mei Rip-offs for sure! Cool thing!

The Rhino is a really nice vehicle. It is only 1 of a short list of vehicles from the new-sculpt era that can be considered worthy of GIJoe. But I personnaly do not consider it the best or even near the top of the list. The classic vehicle designers were out of their minds when they made the vehicles in the 80s. I would have a hard time believing anyone could top those vehicles now.

I love the RHINO! If anyone can find a way to attach the ROCC trailer to the RHINO, it would be so legendary!
I tried to see what I could do, but wasn't sure.
But think: One massive tank of a truck, one command trailer, one helicopter, one jet, and a boat if you add one on like I did!

That sounds epic.

I think the Rhino is my favorite thing from the new sculpt era. It looks like the APC from Aliens. It's got spots all over to mount whatever weapons you want. It holds a tone of figures. Working doors and hatches. It's actually fun to play with in the same way old Joe toys were in the 80s. I even like the helicopter, though I wish it didn't take up a third of the vehicle's body.

With the Rhino, the Rocc, and some of the DTC figures, it was painful to see new sculpt really coming into it's own just as it was getting the axe.
