This was the 4th figure nominated into the Crappy Figure Brigade Hall of Crap.

I am reminded of the Phineas & Ferb toy Theme:

BRICK, BRICK, BRICK, BRIIIIIIIIIICK, BRICK, BRICK, BRICK!!! (Its Fun!!!)

I mean, really? He's basically a Brick with arms, They might as well have given us the robot from Lost In Space, at least the lights would distract us from all the wackness...

Warning! Warning! Danger Joe COllector!

You know, I like this figure. It had a fun play feature and it made a great display piece.

I would own one now if I could find a nice one cheap.

Deep Six is a figure that gets crapped on because of the lack of articulation, but if any figure gets a pass for lack of artiuclation it is the guy in the clunky diving suit. Think about this. The 25th line is supposed to be 25 years worth of toy advancement and imporvement over the originals and for Deep Six they added elbows. His sole purpose was to lay in the SHARC and dive in water. Both of which he does very well.

Design aside, the figure looks good too. There is some good detailing going on here. While the typical greys don't do a whole lot they are realistic. The yellow pretty much serves its purpose for catching the eye. It is a good figure given its gimmick and time it was released. If it me releasing it today I'd make the dive suit more like SNAKE Armor.

Edit: Back in the day this guy got broken out for every bath and every pool time adventure. I remember passing on cool figures and vehicles when I was a kid because I thought Deep Six and the SHARC were that much cooler. The play value in the combo is still really hard to beat even today.

Deep Six was one of my favorites as a kid, limited articulation and all. I still have a soft spot for him today.

That said: The 25th version is a giant PHAIL because of the articulation. I was hoping for a 25th figure inside a slightly englarged suit instead.

Oh well, the Evolutions version is nice.

He's one of my anti-builders, so obviously he can't be that crappy.

My goal is to have a bunch of these figs, a large aquarium, and a multitude of air lines, and see what happens.

I would take the v1 over the Eco-Warriors version any day.

One might see a brick, but I see one of the most iconic characters of all JOEdom.

I use the EW version as another character completely.

I only see Deep-Six with two versions, the deep sea dive suit and a shipboard sailor uniform (like he wore during the Everglades mission and the mission with the Harbormaster).
