Saw one of each on the shelf at the local Target yesterday, wonder of wonders. My Target never seems to get exclusives. Only had enough cash for one so I grabbed the Rattler. Went back today for the Conquest and it was gone but they had in the other vehicles (HISS, VAMP, etc.). I'm hoping that they restock at least once.

The Rattler itself is great! The only complaint I have is that the twist tie on the left wing was so tight it pulled at the plastic, and in doing so the plastic whitened with those stretch marks. The material is more bendy then I expected, but I don't see that as bad.

Thanks for the heads up, but there's no way I'm gonna pay that much for those. I'll track down Jruben so I can get white decals...

But which vehicles are getting made that I'll need better stickers for? Hmmm...

Used the online system to track these down today and one closest Target was sold out and the other said available. Apparently they have them coming from "another stockroom" overnight so hopefully when I call first thing tomorrow they can hold them for me so I can pick them up.

And like Chief, they had a section of shelf set aside for "G.I. Joe Large Vehicle - $24.99" and that's how the DCPI number came up in the computer. So I'm hoping to have them by this time tomorrow.

I saw the Rattler and Conquest at my local target Saturday, although online said there was nothing. So that tool is useless.
I went back today to actually buy the Rattler, the Conquest was gone. I may buy that later when I have more funds (provided more come in).
My Target only had the Steeler/Serpentor sets. No VAMPs or HISSes. But they actually had some wave 5 comics, and some Snow Serpents and Ninja Kus. No Black Destros, of course. I hate the variants!

Hopefully Target has learned its lesson from its earlier exclusives and have ordered alot more. Eventually I'd like to upgrade my original Conquest. My store didn't give alot of space to the jets. There was only space for 3 front to back on the shelf and I only saw one of each the first time. I only saw the Night Specter/Grand Slam set from the last wave of exclusives.

Anyone else bummed out that they don't come with stands? I've only been able to find the Conquest so far, I've never owned it, rather nice. I'll have to pack it away for awhile though I don't have any room for it at the moment which is the main reason I wish Slipstream had a stand so I wouldn't have to barrow another one for him to display him with the rest of my joes. Also he does look a little fat, haha, combination of the bigger torso and Ace's thinner legs I think.

Grabbed a Conquest at Target today at lunch. They had 2 Rattlers and 2 Conquests when I got there and they had obviously stocked this morning, since I was there last night.

So if I can find them in Sierra Vista, AZ (a documented toy dead zone), the rest of you should see them soon.

I pickedup both the Conquest and Rattler today. I must say I am really, really underwhelmed with the quality of the stickers for these vehicles. How is it they can get the stickers right on every vehicle released to this point, almost as good or better than the original sticker sheets and then produce these 2 sticker sheets for the Rattler and Conquest. Honestly I think the Gold rattler stickers were better than these. I've never been disappointed with anything put out until today. If they plan on producing these kinds of sticker sheets for future vehicles it could be a real deal breaker for me as far as buying vehicles go. The only saving grace is that I have a set of J.Ruben Rattler Stickers laying around so at least I can save my new rattler from sticker hell.

Got up early yesterday morning and after checking the online system and calling 3 different stores nearby I tracked a set of these down. Asked them to hold them for me, which they did, hightailed it down down the road and had them in my hands by 9:00a.m.

My Conquest had a couple little stress marks on it but nothing too noticable. The Rattler looks just like I remember.

I put most of the stickers on the Conquest (just need to add the NO STEPs and warnings and such) and they look great. The Rattler though I'm thinking I'll get a set from Cobrastickers.com. The factory stickers are too flat and look a bit off on the dark plastic of the Rattler.

I'm still not sure whether I want these or not. The only Target here doesn't have them, though, so I guess that decision was made for me. Hahaha.

The sad thing is that we shouldn't have to go to outside source to get stickers for our vehicles, let alone pay $15 for a sticker sheet. They should come with quality stickers. We know they can do it because they have done it for the Target Exclusives and Wave 1 of the regular vehicles. I'm so disappointed with the stickers in these vehicles that I actually emailed Hasbro to tell how displeased I am.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not happy about the stickers. At least I don't have to get a Conquest set as well. Those look decent. Its just the flat texture on the shiny dark blue Rattler that looks off.

Here's an interesting little anecdote -- today I swung by Target after work to snag The Force Unleashed for my 360vand happened by the Joe aisle -- there was a girl, about 12-13yrs old, sifting through the Joes. She saw the Rattler and yelled out "cool!", then looked behind it for the Conquest and grabbed both of them and ran off to her Mom to throw them in the cart. I had to ask her if she collected Joes, and she said "nope, my Dad does, and while he's gone (I'm assuming he's in Iraq or Afghanistan), I go 'hunting' for him". I offered to adopt her right there on the spot.

Don't get me wrong - "Lil' Chief" does a fine job of checking out the aisles for me when she's out with Mom, but she doesn't have a tenth of the enthusiasm that this girl did

Very cool - made me proud to be a Dad and a Joe fan -- I'd like to meet this kid's Dad someday - he's a lucky dude.
