Save some money... Save some space... I tried - really I did...

Then, I saw new versions of Snake Eyes that I liked. Then a couple comics that I wanted. Cobra Jet Pack Troopers... Then the DVD packs came out. Tiger Force Flint to go with Lady Jaye... Snow Serpents... Then, a great version of Firefly. Last night I bought a B.A.T. ...

I await Mutt & Junkyard... I check the stores every day or two...

I wouldn't mind seeing Law & Order...

That's how it starts lobo!

Back in late 1999 I discovered eBay and I distinctly remember making a list of the G.I. Joe toys I wanted but never had as a kid, there was maybe 12 names on there. Yeah that started the ball rolling for sure!

wait til you see Wave 11 Eels hanging on the shelf ;)

I told myself the same thing.

I didn't like the intitial designs and seeing the new figures on the shelf didn't give me that warm, fuzzy feeling that the ARAH did.

Then I started to see the incredible customs being done. I think right now the best compliment or critique I can give is, "That looks exactly how I would expect a 25th version of [figure x] to look."

I picked up a Cobra Legion set on clearance last year at Target. I opened it and looked the figures over. Made me wanna see ARAH figures with some of the 25th detail-still hate the waist/stomach one-piece section.

Then I picked up a Torch/Ripper set. Gotta love the 'Noks.

Then I had to get Buzzer to complete the original three.
When I used the Target $25 coupons to get Indy figures I added a JOE figure to bring the total up. Grabbed a Scarlett, Wild Bill, v1 Snake-Eyes, Arctic Snake-Eyes, and a blue Baroness.

Went on vacation and decided to just get the Cobra High Command: Serpentor, Destro, Crimson Twins. (Never found zartan or Major Bludd).

Picked up Lady Jaye, the awesome Snow Job and Torpedo.

Found a clearanced Night Spectre (Sharc) with Grand Slam.

Grabbed the Red Star/Duke set. Gotta love the Oktober Guard too.

Got a Firefly/Storm Shadow set.

Found Barbacue, Bazooka, Snow Serpent, BAT, and a Hiss Driver.

Went to K-Mart and found clearanced comic packs of Snake-Eyes/Storm Shadow (Silent Issue damaged), Destro/Breaker, and an extra Red Star/Duke.

Recently I got a lot of figures and parts that included some 25th stuff. I tried my hand and LBCing the 25th, but I think I'm probably gonna see if anyone else wants those parts since I probably won't be using them.

I think I'll probably grab at least Airborne, although the upcoming Dusty looks cool too. Maybe if the DVD sets or the vehicle get clearanced I'll grab them. Hope they make a Monkeywrench soon...

Funny thing though is that I've been looking over figures and seeing other uses for them. Bazooka could be redone in TF colors or used even for Horrowshow. The Storm Shadow (maroon cloak) torso could be used with any of the Dreadnoks.

:whistling: Well, I stopped at Walmart this morning on the way home from work to get a magazine.

Add Major Bludd and Falcon/Nemesis Immortal to the list...

Nice picture of Mindbender in an ad for the Collector's Convention in June of 2008....... :shifty:
