So, I'm kicking off this whole new site thing with a "Sunbow Weekend" to show my appreciation for the Sunbow cartoon. I'm much more a comic fan, and have been most of my collecting life, but I can appreciate the place that the Sunbow cartoon has in Joe history.

Also, everyone seems to be loving those DVD Battle Packs (myself included) so I figured why not focus on those two series this weekend?

Today I posted my Top 5 Moments from the MASS Device mini-series at GeneralsJoes and tomorrow, I'll do the same for the Revenge of COBRA. Is this something folks enjoy? Was it worth my time? It's kind of not what I usually do, but it was fun, so just wondering if Joe fans want me to keep it up as the rest of these DVD packs get released.

and really looking forward to the Arise Serpentor Arise feature. (if it were me doing those rundowns I couldn't just get 5 top clips from ASA onto a list, no way, I'd have to make that one a top 10 list. best minseries of the whole Sunbow run IMO.

Yeah, the radioactive Snake Eyes was definitely an important part of the story, but I figured the scene where he first gets irradiated had the most "punch" so to speak. Don't worry, though, more clips are bound to be coming...

The raid on the Temple with the JetPacks and Cobra pouring cauldrons of Lava is my second favorite scene after the mock-infiltration.

My third favorite scene is when Stalker surrenders the toy army.

I think would be easier to list our least favorite Top 5 Moments. The Mass Device was pretty good cartoon mini-series.

Snake Eyes saying good-bye to the team on the other side of the glass always gets me chocked up.

Wow. Besides Destro entering the Cobra temple, none of my favorite scenes are on your list.

5) Snake Armor boobie traps in the cave. I must have replayed that scene a million times in dirt holes in the yard.

4) CC and Destro playing Atari with Duke and the giant. Again He-Man vs Duke is the AWESOME.

3) Baroness vs the Joes and some sea worms. Holy crap the bathtub reactments were infmaous. Tha tis when I relaized empty papertowel tubes are not water proof.

2) Destro's entrance into the Cobra temple.

1) The Joes roll out from the front of the HQ.

So many memorable scenes. I can't be the only one who had the Dragonfly try to retrieve a tenisball from a mountain of dirt. Or had Duke flying through trees ina glider. Or the introduction fo Timber to the res tof the team who just happen to know what to call him despite Snake Eyes not being able to tell them.

Oog. I *really* disliked the original mini series. So much that I've watched it MAYBE 3 times in my life. Most of what I've seen was during Joe conventions when I have it on in the background.
