Well I hope the topic says it all. That 3 pack with the IG Destro and 2 Iron Grenadiers.

Anyone know when that is schedualed to arrive in stores?

You could skip it but it depends on how good your TRU is.
The Iron Grenadier isn't that great of a figure. Normally I like to have 2 of every army builder. The IG with CC body isn't really that exciting. I debated about selling mine and decided not to. He remains in my collection not because it's a great figure but so Destro can have at least one body guard.

I've got 8 IGs so far, and two of them are because of an e-bay auction for multiples after I'd already gotten my base 6.

Not only are they pretty shabby, and the legs are far too skinny for their bulky tops, but the plastic seems softer than usual. The red laser is so small, the belt barely fits (and the red paint almost haphazard)... the only good things about him are the head and the webgear.

I defintely do not need this guy in purple, or *another* gold headed Destro with a purple belt for no reason (at least changing his cravat and cape would've made him a more believable repaint... Jeez).

Just a complete and total fail on this set. Hasbro would've cashed in large by giving us two regular IGs in the same color scheme, and one in a different scheme, rather than this semi-army builder crap.

At least the Joe sets have new characters.

Hrm. I actually love the IG. It's probably my favorite builder to date from the 25th line.

I've swapped the lower legs on all 10 of mine so that the red piping on the boots faces out (and switched the feet, of course). For some reason this makes them all look perfect to me.

The purple IG will probably get the legs and lower arms from Destro and a new head so he can be my Voltar. The regular IG will end up getting traded or sold, though, because 10 are all I need of any one builder.

This pack will probably be my prime source for IG's. The comic pack has been pretty tough to find around here. Probably end up repainting the purple IGs red so I don't have to buy as many sets. Dunno what the hell I'll do with that many Destro's though. Ah well, I'll figure something out. Be nice if they don't have two left biceps like my CP one had however.

I think with everyone's expressed opinion, that I will take my comic pack back to the store and wait for the TRU set. I really don't need another IG Destro, much less a blue-ish one.

Can anyone say if the comic was any good?

I have been a bit put off by the comics lately, mainly 'cause there is no "depth" or character development, which is natural as they are one-shots, and therefore hard to achieve that in the limited space. But I just don't seem to get the same story development that I did back with the special missions one-shot type stories.
