I've had ideas to do a werewolf with Timber's head and Beast's body; but I'll likely be turning that into a Sir Lupo now. I found a Schleich gorilla at a hobby shop in Atlanta and want to try to bash a basic gorilla fig for GTG out of it and another Beast I've got, but dunno if I want to make him a Knight of Wundagore. I'll have to take a look at what other Schliech figs my local Target has as I'd like to have at least a trio of Knights to go with whenever I make a High Evolutionary.

Oh, and thanks. Odocus was literally an end-of-the-night inspiration. I got the HP figs from DH when I got back home from ATL, and had pretty much resigned myself to tossing the magical ghost animals that come with Harry and Hermione, but took another look at the deer before doing so. Hermione's otter is too small to work on the Beast body, unfortunately.

Y'all have any particular animal you'd like to see on Beast's body? He could work well for pretty much any mammal, I think. Bears, Primates of all sorts, herbivores perhaps (blegh on the idea of Bova tho - who wants an old woman maid figure, much less one with a cow's head?), maybe a lion or tiger?

How would you do the gorilla hands and feets?

Like I say, I found a Schleich gorilla in ATL. The head's too big to look right on Beast's bod, plus I want a 'comicized' gorilla moreso than a zoo representative, so I'll have to try to shrink it down a tad. I'm thinking I'll keep Beasts' left hand as is, but I'll work his right one with the fingers off this gorilla; and I think I can use the feets too. My other option is to try to move Beast's big toes to the insides of the feets.

Link doesnt work

A Gorilla would be awesome. I've been dying (like yourself) to get an anthropomorphoic (SP?) gorilla.

there's a gorilla that came with the adventure people safari set in the early 70's -- it may not be detailed enough out of the box for you, but it might make good source material --

Why not take a King Kong and bash it on to a SHS HulK or Juggie. A little sculpted fur and chest and Viola. You can probably still pick up a Kong at K-Mart or KB on clearence. I plan on doing this for a Grodd and Ultra Huminate. i may even follow in the foot steps of my Elephant warrior and just give him chest armor and skip the chest sculpt.
It's not like you don't have the bashing skills.
