...They look neat, but I love that whomever posed the desert igures was utterly clueless about who gets what accessory. It looks like they all got drunk and traded helmets for the day.

Oh, and here are some pictures of the GJCC DTC Wave 4 figures, if anyone still cares about those:

far be it for me to be an idealist but a tan uniformed Crimson Guard just doesn't feel like a Crimson Guard y'know?

As for the Arctic Assault pack - that's so full of win it's unbelievable! I just hope that comic pack Scrap Iron (in correct v1 colours) has a tinted removeable visor like this one - if not I'm switching it! What a perfect set.

I don't get the traded helmet comment, besides the CG helmet being in the wrong picture, am I missing something else?

I don't get the helmet thing either.

I think I can pass on the desert set.

WW2 rifles for the CGs again! Well they do have a red stripe so i guess that makes them 'crimson'.
That one Viper with the machine gun really sucks.
:televiper: Why do they keep painting the silver onto the Tele-Viper's helmet.

I don't see any articulation at the elbow. It looks exactly the same as the single-carded release. Just better body-part choices, same as the DVD set, just not in cartoon colors.

Maybe it's the angle then, just looks like it's more bent at the elbow than I recall.

Wow!
I'm amazed at the quality of these sets.

Bring them on!

Those weird arm bands finally make sense to me. On the one arctic Viper, they look like sleeves now! I guess he's a real man to roll up his sleeves in -50 degree weather, too.

I'm glad I preordered these sets already. They look even BETTER now than I first thought they did. I love the emblem on the one Grand Slam torso used in the desert pack. And these figures get all sorts of cool accessories, which is a huge bonus as well.

And yes, I still care about the DTC wave 4. How much I show that I care will be determined by price, if the magic number is ever released to us.

As a fan of the arctic forces I have 5 of the arctic sets preordered. Going to make a massive arctic battle dio on one of my display shelves eventually. I have 2 of the desert packs too cuz they are pretty cool too.

The Air Trooper helmet is on the...whatever the hell it is with the Flash body, the CG helmet is with that same Flash bodied trooper, and the Viper head is on the BBQ body (...though looking at the pack, that might be intentional...I know what head-swap I'll be performing right away).
