I'm getting choosier on my Joe purchases, but these are all must-haves for the comics alone, even if i've generally been disappointed with them as well. Thanks for the pics! Nemmy and Tripwire look to be the best of the bunch.

I actually found these today. I picked up the Nemesis/Falcon pack and the Destro/IG pack. My only complaint is that I thought the black head destro was an alternate head included with every pack (like that SW pack with Obi Wan and gimp-mask Obi Wan). I didn't realize it was a variant or I would have shuffled through more pegs.

I saw these today as well. I didn't buy any of them and the only one I'd probably get is the Destro/IG one. I think that the black helmeted Destro is one in each case cause I saw one there as well.

Ugh. We still have too many of the first waves to get these. I was lucky to find the Shippy/Copperhead wave. None of the Wal-Marts around here are getting _any_ new stuff in, and haven't for several weeks. Add to that that the one little way out of the way Wal-Mart I used to find treasures at when I'd pass it about once a month has DC'ed Joes, I think I'm going to have to resort to online more now. (I was in the out of the way WM, found one Lady Jaye and two hooded CCs clearanced at $5. I asked the lady resetting the toys if that meant no more Joes there. She pulled her sheets, looked them over a couple of times, then said "Sorry. Looks like we won't be carrying them anymore." From what I could tell, the space was going to those stupid old-toys-in-new-packaging Star Wars things, all while the old shelf warming Star Wars stuff was piled in a cart, covered with dust.

On a plus side, I stopped at K-Mart yesterday and saw a pallet of toys and was able to snag an unopened case of the vehicles. First time I'd seen them around here, so I was happy.

I found the Falcon/ Nemesis Enforcer and Tripwire/ Cobra Commander packs today at Target.

Falcon: The body sculpt works well for the figure, but the head is off to me. I think his beret is too tall and makes his head look elongated. Plus the way the eyebrows are painted (straight, slanted lines) kind of throws the head off even more. An eyebrow touch-up will help a little I think. Also, they could have added a little more camo to his uniform. The big blank spot on his left thigh is really noticeable. The boots are painted weird too, but I think a little black paint on the front will help that. It's sad to say, but his backpack is the best part. It opens and the radio is removable. With the radio in, you have about 5/16" of usable space in there, and with it out, about 1". It closes securely too. Usually the clasp on these small accessories is too flimsy to go into the hole, but this one works great. No pistol! :( Eh, it's not like I don't have a bunch of Duke pistols already that would work.

Nemesis Enforcer: He has some nice detailing, as shown previously. All his parts are molded in the corresponding color except for the feet. In person, he kind of looks like Sid Vicious wearing a NE mask. People who weren't big on the animated movie shouldn't have a problem making up some sort of non-Cobra-La back story for adding him to their Cobra ranks. Especially since he looks equally as neat without the wings or tentacles.

Cobra Commander: I was actually looking forward to this one the most, but once I had him in my hands, he kind of fell short. He's really lanky; something the tiny head doesn't help one bit. Too much blue! I think a red cape or a cape with red on the inside and blue or black on the outside would have worked better on this figure to break up all the blue. Maybe it's just the shade of blue that makes me think it's too much, because I really like the first hooded Cobra Commander figure. The sword is really cool, and looks like something we'll be seeing in the future again, probably with Serpentor. Cobra Commander's belt could use a little glue to keep in place, as it has a tendency to ride up

Tripwire: In my opinion, the best of the bunch. The re-used parts really work well here, and are actually a nice evolution of the original. Same thing with the helmet. They added some little bits here and there to the original design to really make it interesting. I didn't have a problem with a saggy detector. Mine is actually pretty firm, but does kick over a little the closer you put it to the ground. A larger arm rest would have alleviated that I think. It's a nice subtle upgrade of the original though, which is cool. With the way Hasbro updates accessories, you would think they would add a little paint to his pack, but it's just one solid green piece.

On Trippy, I too love that they made the head size something proper to fit a head under. I'm almost tempted to drill out the facial features, pop a 'smiling Dukey-Boy' head on, and fit the helmet on top.

I actually found this wave! They all looked pretty good, but with heading back to school and needing rent money now, I could only pick up one. I picked up the Falcon/NE pack. Cool figures, but I can't for the life of me get Nemesis Enforcer's wings into the holes on the backpack. Sort of a bummer. Still worth the money, though.

BBTS says my case is coming. Maybe I'll get a obsidian Destro...which won't mean a thing to me because IMHO it looks bad

The case that was opened in front of me at Target had one of each Destro in it. I imagine yours will as well.

I have 25th Snow Serpents to trade for that Destro if you are interested! I have never been able to find him yet, got 4 IG/Destro packs but no black.

Finally found these guys today. QC has really gone out the door with them. Of the 5 CC/Tripwire packs I saw, 2 Tripwires were missing their belts and they weren't loose in the package anywhere that I could see them. I got home with one of each set (except black mask Destro, didn't see him) and opened them up... My Falcon came with a Snake Eyes figure stand (this is the second time in this line I've had this happen, first time being in the 5-packs. Too bad you can't see the stand in the packaging, or I could've ebayed it as the super rare unmasked green beret Snake Eyes :-P ). So of the 12 or so of the wave I saw, at least 3 had errors to them.

I still haven't found another one so I'd feel ok about opening this one. I'm surprised at how good the IG's are though. Really liking them so far.

and yeah, NE is a good figure, even if the batwings throw him off balance.
