Here are some quick reviews...

cobra commander vs tripwire:

this CC would be decent if the gear were gold and not shiny yellow... The cape and gear look like they are going to weigh poor CC down... overall a decent but forgettable figure.. At least it isn't another straight repack of the battle helmet CC.

Tripwire is awesome! I never liked this character or figure growing up but the new headsculpt really works and brings everything together.

the comic is great too and shows a new bomb laced helmet CC could wear under his hood... I wish this would have been used for the toy!

Destro vs. Iron Grenadier

Destro's figure sucks. why would I want this figure in grey? the only good parts are the black version of his gun and the red eyes on the gold helmet.. I kinda wish I had gotten the black helmet version... The Iron Grenadier has good gear and a decent headsculpt but the body is a straight repaint of cobra commander and it is kinda disappointing...

The comic is good.. was the iron grenadier supposed to be a character we recognize?

Falcon vs Nemesis Immortal

Falcon has good gear but his head blows. sorry, but it does.

the nemesis immortal looks good (and has a belt Serpentor could use) but he has an equally bad head... partially due to the poor paint job.

the comic is a fun read but not much goes down..

SDCC Cobra Commander (Black suit)

I got this today... it is amazing!! The new head is great and the figure has nice hands... I wish the torso was articulated better and that he was in an actual blazer but oh well.... A cobra symbol on the head would have been cool too... but the real reason to get this is the podium! It is the best accessory for CC ever... much better than a chair to hang out in... and the mic even comes off the stand! I am considering buying another to have a CC vs Serpentor debate.

That would make for a cool dio story.
