One of my trucks dump trucks got stuck in soft sand this morning. So I had to get a bulldozer to pull it out. To pull it out I used that metal cable wire. Then it hit me the one thing I would always do when I played with my toys when I was younger was have the Wolverine breakdown. I would always get the Vamp to tow it back to base using the cabel it came with. I'm at work driving a bulldozer doing what pretened to do 22 to 23 years ago. Some others I enjoyed to play with.

Roadtoad (some how eveything brokdown and was hooked up to the roadtoad)
Outpost Defender ( Falcon and his one man battle station the Rattlers didn't stand a chance)

I used the AT-AT as a Cobra vehicle/HQ, that and the indestructable VAMP probably earned the most play time. I launched my VAMP down the stairs and off the second story balcony a few dozen times without a crack.

The drednok thunder machine was my only wheeled cobra vehicle so it got plenty of play time by default. I also had the Tomahawk, which is still to this day a favorite, but it's bulk, or more so specifically - it's blades, limited its playability. They seem to always be in the way, so it was pretty much reserved to insertions and rescues.

From the Joeverse it would have been the AWE Striker on the Joe side and for Cobra it was the Rattler and Night Raven (I used to run around at Mach 3 with it in my backyard flying high-speed recon missions).

Over all though, it would have been my Tonka crane. It was big, heavy, and kicked all kinds of derriere.

Honestly... It was a tie betweeen the Fisher Price Ferryboat and the Castle. Since I didnt have the Whate as a kid, the ferryboat became my amphibious insertion vehilce for the joes, and the Fisher Price castle was Cobra's base.

...that and mostly a crapload of the Futron and Blacktron Legoes!

I used the AT-AT as a mobile base too. And I had the Imperial Attack Base that I played with until it vanished sometime around 11.

Overall, the one toy I got the most play out of was a really cheap roughly 1/18th scale General Lee that my grandmother bought me at TG&Y. The first thing I did was pull the stickers off of it, and it immediately became the ride of the Fischer Price Adventure people parachute dude. Then it became a Star wars guy car, then eventually it became a GI Joe guy Car. I had that thing for probably 5 or 6 years before it got mangled by my neighbors dog. The first time I ever savaged my own hand with a knife was making that car a convertible.

The first Joes I had were the most fun.

Steeler and Clutch were used all the time and never really rested. Also Snake Eyes v3, Storm Shadow 2, Beach Head, Night Force Shockwave, Shockwave in blue with mask and Lowlight were too cool to not use

Also, my Steel brigade figure got to drive cool vehicles. Absolutely

Until he vanished, Flash was the hero of most of my Joe adventure.
He was replaced by Blowtorch followed by Falcon who still leads my childhood joes today.

The Fisher Price Adventure People Seashark was my cobra boat.

Hiss driver was my joe scale Spiderman or Optimus Prime, yes you read right.

My playmobil gas station got blown up every day too :D

I am so glad that I’m not alone here. I was born in ’89 so unless I got them at a garage sale or comic book store, my Joes were the neon kind. The v2 Snow Serpent was actually the first G.I. Joe item I ever owned. The only other figures that I played with as much as him were the v2 Toxo-Viper and Barricade. Those were my boys during my toddler years. I also seem to remember being very fond of the Cobra Ice Sabre. Looking back at my favorite toys during my formative years, my current state of mental health makes so much more sense.

For me when I was younger it was my snowspeeder, tonka turboprop plane, Luke in x-wing gear, my Big Jim figure and action van, and my 12 inch joes.

After the Joe's came out it was the VAMP and FLACK, with Flash and Stalker as my fav's. I was huge in to MASK and still have most of the first run. My fav's were condor and hurricane.

I think that I was the only kid in my school to play with Blackstar and Sectors (still like them better then He-man). Outside of that, the wooden guns that my Dad and Grandpa made for me.

Like any kid oin the 80's I played the hell out of my Joes and Star Wars. Nothing could top all of the adventures and play patterns I used with those.

The Fisher Price vehicles got a lot of attention when it came to play time. While the VAMP was cool, it was too nice to drive down the steps or into the lake. Those FP vehicles were perfect for every daredevil stunt my friends and I could come up with. Even after 20 years of me beating the crap out of them they were still in good enough condition to pass on to kids that lived in my old neighborhood.

Super Powers was another big winner for me back in the day. I have fond memories of taking Aquaman to the beach or having Green Arrow and Green Lantern taking on Star Wars aliens.

They never should have made that belt, You are talking to the Commonwelth Blvd, Dominion Drive, Quaker lane, Plymth Ct, Old Colony Rd and Puritan rd Champion. We never played with those lil men though. I still have 3 of those belts too.
