Hrm. I'm less excited than I was about this. The BAT looks great, there's no taking away from that (though that double-bladed thing is obviously supposed to be Serpentor's accessory). Dusty looks pretty good (minus the Flying Nun effect he has going on there), and I'm glad that we're finally getting a v1 style Serpentor, and I love that he comes with a snake-spear.

Now what I don't like...

-The skeleton looks to have almost no articulation. I didn't expect it to have full Joe articulation, but if they can find a way to put joints in Star Wars IG-88 figures, they could have found a way to put a few on this. There goes my plan to get a whole ton of these.

-Serpentor's colors are awful. That "infected wound yellow" color that Hasbro seems so fond of lately really needs to go. Serpentor wears GOLD armor, people! Oh well, I can customize around that pretty easily.

Uggghhh...

Why is it so hard for Hasbro to do a good "classic" style Serpentor?

I really did not like the first 25a version they did, but aside from the new cowl, cobra hood, and chest-snake-harness-thingy, I like the first one better.

Still the same mold, but with even crappier colors than the first two times the mold was used. That crappy waist cape thing, and that gawd-awful "pity me" look on that same old head.

This was about the only thing coming out, that I was really excited about. I even considered turning to ebay, if needed, to get one.
Now I doubt I'll even get it, if I happen to see it in the store. :-(

You would think any battle pack that has a skeleton warrior, a BAT and a fan favorite figure would take the cake. But that doesn't appear to the be case here for pretty much all of the above reasons. I am also not digging the face paint on Dusty. It just doesn't look right.

I like Dusty, and can't find a BAT around here, so I'll have a shot at getting one in there, but I don't care for Serpentor, the character or figure, and the skeleton warrior doesn't look as cool as it did before, so I'm not as excited about it, but still like some of it. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised like I was with the first two DVD packs. The Destro and Lady Jaye figures are amazing and I expected nothing.

I'd like the Skeleton Warrior and a Snake Stake but that'd be it for that whole pack. I prefer the last Serpy, don't like the red visor on the BAT and, while Dusty is nice, I'm not too fussed to have him.

I'll get it, if it's the only way I can get a BAT. I'll have to paint the face plate silver on it. Dusty doesn't look too bad, and the skeleton warior looks pretty cool, even if it is a brick.

Serpentor, however, has always been a superfluous character. The snake cowl helps, but I still don't like the figure.

dig the bat, much more menacing that the aluminum foil aquarium look.

Why is dusty there, why not mindbender, did dusty create serpentor? probably not.

I just can't get over the fact that there are people at Hasbro who are too stupid to know the difference between a gun's handle and an ammo clip.

what exactly was the problem with the Dusty figure shown at the Joe Con? Why did some "intelligent" designer at Hasbro get the "brilliant" idea to change his camo pattern, paint his face differently, and give him a dark brown cloth?

He was damn near perfect at the Joe con, now...not so much.

Total opposite here, though I agree about Serpentor - he not only looks awful, but will be completely useless because every one will have it's leg irreparably damaged by the posing in the package. That posing will completely mess up the knee joint.

I have no use for the skeleton. None, I can't even think of a way to customize it, and that's saying a whole freakin lot.

I do like the Dusty, and I loved and wanted a red faced bat, ever since AutobotC5's custom of him.

I like that Serpentor A LOT. And the old Serpy was one of my favorite 25th figs.

The skeleton is AWESOME looking. But I wish it were an action figure and not an accessory :(

Dusty is OK, but his name was Rudat in the cartoon, not Tadur like on the filecard. Aw well, nice to see him finally.

The BAT is AWESOME! I love the red faceplate look.

But what am I going to do with all these MASS devices I'm building up parts for?

My thoughts are, the one we saw at the convention were probably what will be the single carded Dusty. This one was probably what they were suppose to have had on display. I'm pretty much thinking of the figures I can't use as extra parts for when I can get around to doing more custom figures. I'll get the set for the weapon part, and I don't so much mind the BAT. That may end up being the only way I get a BAT the way it's going around my area.

why Tadur and not Rudat if they're going by the cartoon for this set?
