I found the first two DVD sets at Target and bought them. Now I'm facing a problem.

Do I open these and keep them myself, or do I give them to my son?

I wanted the DVDs for him, but the more I look at these cool figures and accessories...

(And no, I'm not buying two sets; can't justify that expense.)

I'm already giving him a ton of Joe stuff for his birthday in a few weeks. So... I'm torn.

I really want that Weather Dominator...

:-D :-/

Can't you open it up, remove the Weather Dominator parts, then give it to him?

If he asks where those are, pull a :whistling: and pop in the DVD. ;-)

The DVDs are individually wrapped in celophane or whatever, so you just open it and take out the DVDs and make those the gift. He won't know they are not sold like that... :shifty:

What is more important. You get some cool Joe Toys or you get nurture your son's Joe habit? There may come a time when he cares more about girls than Joe. Don't be greedy and waste the Joe time you have left. When he dumps Joe some dame steal his collection.

Well, the Weather Dominator isn’t exactly durable and what is it made for if not to sit assembled on a shelf?

Sell the kid and use the cash to buy more Joe stuff. You could justify the expense, then.

I opened the Cobra Revenge one and i am glad I did (I have a back up from BBTS coming)

the Destro in there is the best out so far (IMO). Silver crome dome! he gives me the old school feel. Hatless Lady Jaye too!!

plus the weather dominator, while simple, is neat and breaks down into the 3 pieces....how fun!

I agree. I like that Destro WAY more than I expected to. He's is by far superior to the other Destros out there. I think it's the true black uniform that does it, since I put the comic pack destro head on my 5 pack version. This still looks cooler.

Destro and the weather dominator were the only reeasons I wanted the set. I do find the tiny pistol in the huge holster to be amusing. Not quite as funny as a heavy machine gunner being armed only with a knife, though.
