I need as much input on this as possible, fellas. Nothing is set in stone as yet, but it might eventually be cast and sold.

*Edit* - Here's the bio -

The Sun had risen and set over the battlefield of Dagon's causeway. The undead hoards of the dreaded necromancer Kalibos Fang had been beaten into retreat by the heroic forces of Captain Conroy and the riders of Argomanti.
Time passed...
In the still of the night, A shambling, battered corpse rose from the grave - only this zombie was far, far different from the others that formed the rank and file of Fang's army.
The Cold Dead Bastard was infected by an enemy invisible to the naked eye. A malignant life from, intent on conquering New Earth now ran through his veins. The ingenious nanomites prey on the fallen, infecting lifeless bodies to employ as transport and as remorseless death dealers. Billions of these microscopic nanomites replicated the CDB's decimated limbs and torso with almost indestructable alloys of an unknown nature, and armed him with weapons of horrifying brutality. Now nothing more than an engine of destruction, the Cold Dead Bastard obliterates any life on the planet - starting with the humans - in order to create a Utopia for the invading, calculating nanomites.

Marcus, I think he works as is. It's a solid looking Sci-Fi figure. No critiques from me.

Ok, now seeing this has got me not really wanting to even attempt to finish my Horseman Death, not that it has similar parts but it just makes me feel inadequate.

Great, GREAT work. Not to mention the concept for the figure. I love a nano-tech infected zombie, nice.

I think you need to figure out what the character is going to be, and that will help finish up any lingering details.

I get a real Terminator T-800 feel from this guy... Is he a Cybernetic organism that's being attacked by a Zombie Virus.

Is he a Human who's been attacked by a Zombie Virus, and a Techno/Nano Virus at the same time.

Is he a Zombie (Former Human) who's been attacked by the Zombie Virus, and has since been infected with something akin to the Borg's Nanites...possibly as an attempt to heal him from the Zombie Virus.

I think figuring that out will help define if he's an individual and unique or somthing more akin to an army builder.

Good question lol!

I'm thinking he was already a Zombie (hence the bite marks on his forearm), and much of his body was destroyed. Then he got infected on the battlefield (it's in the future) with the nanomites that replicated the rest of his body (the metal bits). I figure the nanomites have a malignant purpose - they want to destroy humans and take over New Earth, but need the bodies as host vehicles.

Like the first CDB, he is a unique character, but if you paint him up differently and swap the head, he should be a good army builder.
I'll see about doing alternate heads/ weapons for him. ;-)

Thanks for the input, mate!

Psh...Crystal Ball and Dr. Mindbender are "unique Characters"...but that dosn't stop them from being used as Army builders. Alternate heads or weapons would make a really cool additional kit or option when ordering a cast version.

Since you're going along the thoughts of Nanomite infected Zombie...I think I'd like to see a bit more sculpting on the mechanical side. As I said before I get a real T-800 Arnold face peeling off the Endo-Skeleton vibe from this guy. Maybe it's not how it works in your verse, but I would think the Nanomite additions would overlap the biological...I'm really thinking like how the implants popped out on Picard in his Dream during 'First Contact'

Ok, bio up in the first post!

Nova - I get what you're saying. That does make sense if the body was intact. The way I see it, the nanomites rebuilt the missing body parts from the inside. They wouldn't need the added size etc, I reckon they'd only need to replicate enough to get by. They use human hosts as frames to build on. I guess if the body was complete to start with, they would look more Borg-ish. ;-)

I might do a version like that in the future!

This is just insanely cool. I love the way this guy looks already, and I can't wait to see him finished. I really like that bio for him, too.

For some reason I picture him stalking out of a forest that's turning metallic from that nanovirus infecting everything.

I really like your figure, can't wait to see this beast finished.
Only one thing comes to mind when reading his bio,
I would call these nanomites "necromites" and they need a dead body as a host cause the lifeforce/soul in a living one works like a firewall...

Can he infect others, makeing them zombies or hybrids?
