Got to a Target today, somewhat unexpectedly. The clearance is over, and the fall reset is in progress. Couldn't afford anything today (dang it) and they actually didn't have a lot on the shelves, but here is what I observed.

Ample space for STAR WARS, individual figure racks seemed evenly split between Clone Wars and standard Star Wars figures, with a separate area marked "Droid Assortment". I assume these are the Build-a-Droid figures. Only item evident here was a kid-size costume of a Clone Wars character.

Decent amount of space for TRANSFORMERS, including Universe, thankfully.

Fair amount of space for G.I.JOE, which was pretty well in stock, including single figures (not a lot of these), comic packs, 12" Figures, DVD boxed sets, and vehicles. With I'd had the $14.96 for the HISS Tank (BTW, is it just me, or do the applied labels look a little too glossy for their own good?) They also had the other vehicle sets.

Generous amount of space for DC COMICS related items, including JLU Singles, JLU 3-packs, and DC Universe Classics. Not much in stock.

I do NOT recall seeing any space for MARVEL LEGENDS, which sort of troubled me, but the next assortment is a Wal-Mart exclusive, and I wouldn't be surprised to see another partial reset before Christmas.

Movie related lines, notable Hulk and Iron Man, had NO shelf space. On the other hand, INDIANA JONES had plenty.

Other lines still present included BEN 10, POWER RANGERS, WWE (including the 1:18 scale guys which I do not recall seeing at Target previously), and other military stuff in Joe scale.

Now, get these shelves filled, and hopefully so will my bank account be, and it could get very interesting in the near future. :)

Honestly, given the considerable dearth of new stuff around here lately, this was the most encouraging thing I've seen in a toy aisle in some time, even if it was mostly shelf tags, and even if I was pretty much broke.

I'll be trying to check a Target tomorrow, but I'm not expecting much. Assuming BBTS will send my case of wave 9 and not cancel, I only need extra BATs and Snow Serpents now. I haven't seen any though.

I want to see those DC figure in person so I can decide if it's worth redoing them the way I would like. I don't know if I care for any of the characters to actually get them however.

I'd guess the Hulk figures will be wrapping up soon. That Toys R Us set probably will close it out. The Iron Man figures were never really that plentiful anyway. Another example of not putting out lots of product for extra sales versus actually just holding off and allowing sell out products so they don't get stuck with extra merchandise.

I was in target today, nothing really new, but alot of empty shelves. I did see the 12 inch joes, and picked up the indy Titanium motorcycle and sidecar, yoink. Looking forward to the Tarje' Halloween stuff.
I made it to Walmart and TRU, the Indy Troop cars are becoming more plentiful, and cheaper at Walmart.

Wow.

I went to Target this weekend and all they had were a bunch of old comic packs and a single Cobra Commander figure... which is pretty much all they've had every time I've been in there in the past few months.

Wierd they didnt have a large section for Marvel Legends, since they and Wal Mart are both getting exclusive waves before year's end.

There's another wave of Hulk single carded figures (Bi-Beast and Grey Hulk, plus some more Hulk variants) and another wave of IM figures. The reset Targets I've seen so far have had more IM stuff than I've seen since the initial endcaps. Also the ones I've seen have had at least three pegs for ML, my guess is this will be expanded sometime in the fall.

This concerned me, too, but it might be just this Target, since someone else reported seeing ML shelves in their area. Also, since the next wave is Wal-Mart only, they might be holding off until the closer-to-Christmas adjustment.

I saw NO space allocated to Hulk or Iron Man despite toy magazine announcements of further assortments.

Color me envious. The Target that Mundo and I frequent still has just 2 single carded Buzzer figures and 2 of 25A comic pack #1. They've been there for MONTHS!

Odd, the three reset Targets I've been to have had multiple pegs for both. Is it possible they haven't completed the set yet? Unless the aisle has the gray backer on the pegboards, it isn't done. I've been to at least one that had only reset half the aisle and was probably waiting to sell down product to do the other half.

I thought the Target wave was due in september, and Wal mart's in december.

Does anyone know how Target handles their resets? I just wonder if they were waiting for the reset to finally carry a Joe vehicle as there has yet to be a single exclusive vehicle at any of the Targets I have stopped by in WI. It's a little frustrating wanting a Target exclusive that seemingly is only carried at Targets in other parts of the country.

I read somewhere, don't recall where, but it was a reliable source, that Wave 4 of Marvel Legends, which is the next wave out, is a Wal-Mart exclusive, and is due in September-October.

I doubt you'll see any of the exclusive vehicles if you haven't already. When they shipped they were supposed to be stocked at the checkstands, after 2 weeks, any unsold product was moved to the aisles.

Visited one Target today. No G.I.Joe figures, but they are doing the reset. Looks like they're just starting it too.

My Target got a reset today! And they finally got in new stock, too! No new comic packs or singles (...still stuck on those same exact Buzzers that have been there since they were new), but we got the DVD sets and vehicles. Unfortunately, I was only able to afford to pick up one DVD set (the weather dominator pack...awesome accessory, that thing is), but it's just great to see new stuff after months and months of wave 2 - 4 and nothing else.
