Poll: Which Cobra do you like best from 1982?

Tough choice here, because I do like the Commander and Major Bludd, but I went with the basic Cobra (Trooper). The beginnings of the Cobra army!

Best character: Commander. Best figure from '82? Officer - even the straight-armed still holds up!

Went with CC, but Bludd was a very close second.

Hadda go with CC. Bludd's lack of an elbow dings him down a notch beneath CC, while the Troopers/Officers were never in the running due to that butt-ass ugly head. That horrid sculpt made me deliberately avoid any version of that fig until the Infantry 6pack came out with the new head. Like the HISS I, the Trooper mold gets love due to nostalgia and not any actual merits the fig has.

Chose trooper. He's the backbone of Cobra, and you can do so much with the mold: Desert, Python, Crimson, night, stealth, etc.

Cobra Officer, because he looks a little bit more exclusive than the Trooper. That's the gear he's wearing around his torso and the silver logo.
And CC and Bludd aren't representing their character enough.

went with Bludd. Always thought the non movable arm was some Cyborg arm, Especially since it has only 3 fingers.

Went with Cobra Officer, he was the only one I had as a kid. Plus, I loved his AK-47.

I like them all, but I had to go with my all time favorite Joe mythos character: Cobra Commander.

I am still not convinced that Major Bludd was actually released in 1982. I got my straight arm Cobra Commander mail away figures in January of 1983, and I find it unlikely they would have been making straight arm CC's after they had released a swivel Bludd.

But, given the choices, I still take the Cobra Soldier. You can get better versions of all the characters except the Officer later in the line and I prefer the Trooper to the Officer.
