Clutch. He has a very distinct personality and was one of the most unique looking of the original bunch. Plus the VAMP kicks ass.

I went with Flash (Snake-Eyes is too obvious). Certainly one of the more distinctive figures in the first year, and I liked the idea of a "Laser Rifle Trooper". He, along with Snake Eyes, was the very first figure I ever bought in G.I.Joe.

I was gonna go with SE, but Treks swayed me to go with Flash. But all in all, they're a wad of pretty horrid figs by today's standards, lol.

I have to go with Snake-Eyes. First Joe I ever bought. I was on holiday with the family in Colorado. Picked up issue 1 of GI Joe. Liked the character, went out and bought him the next day. The day after, I bought Scarlett and Flash, so they would come a joint second.

Was between Flash and Snake Eyes. Never got SE V1, but had Flash. So, Flash wins out.

Looks like I'm the only vote for Grunt. He wasn't my first figure (Short-Fuze introduced me to Joes), but he was my favorite because he had an ''A-Team'' weapon: the M-16!
