The Cobra base was on display! Thanks to CabanaJack bringing a small table and ZombieGuide allowing the use of the space! Oh and yes Destro's castle will be the next project followed by a full outfitted Pit! ...and that is naked Beav hanging out on the base, hehe:

Those buzz boar customs make me angry with myself every time I see them. I had the remains of a Grievous wheel bike sitting on my desk for YEARS with the plans to turn it into a buzz boar, and what was stopping me was that I couldn't think of anything to make the sides out of. Never occurred to my stupid brain to use the actual original vehicle. And, of course, now I've long since sold off the wheel bike parts AND my last buzz boar shell.

Golobulus was made by Richard Woodhouse of Hasbro. He used an Aliens tail to make him. I think it was the Alien Queen. Old Kenner stuff.

Hehe, yeah that Nurse was dressed for the 12" line. When Cobra Commander came out the G4 crew wanted everyone to react. She "passed out". My camera took so long taking the picture that she was getting up when it flashed. It ended up actually being a better shot than her laying on the floor, hehe.

Only problem with going to a joeCon, you want to go to another one. Then after that you'll want to go to the next. Then the next and so on and so on. It was great fun!

Viper and I were talking to Richard on Saturday, he told us the tail was actually from the PRED-ALIEN from AVP2. He said it is fully flexible.

Yeah, if Hasbro produced a Golobulus and Royal Guard that was anything close to what Rich has created, it would be FOW.

Yeah he didn't say which one to me, just an Aliens tail. I assumed it was an older one since it looks a lot like the old Aliens queen. That Pred-Alien is actually on clearance at Spencer right now too.

I beleive the tail is from a NECA AVPR predalien.
The paint jobs on the customs were all done by a buddy of Rich's at Hasbro named Matt Holt. There is no way they would ever paint the figures the same way if they were ever to produce them due to costs. It would be nice to see them produced tho.
