Two things about this custom: Lots of sanding and even more red paint :D

This is my first custom using Mighty Putty. That stuff you see Mr. Loudmouth Billy Mays pimp on TV. I grabbed a 3-pack of it at Target for $10. I wasn't expecting anything more than epoxy putty, but it actually ended up having a little longer working time that the gray plumber's epoxy. So about 10 minutes of good working time. If anything, I got five more minutes of working time, and they come out to $3 a tube, which is still cheaper than plumber's epoxy. Anyway, back to the figure itself.

Daredevil was made completely from a Sigma 6 Destro. I used the putty to fill in the grooves in the head and make the horns/glove tops.I sanded down the jaw piece a little, as it was obviously part of Destro's mask. I forgot who the baton went to, but most likely one of the Toybiz Daredevil figures. The holster is from a rotocast Daredevil. I chopped off the strap and added an elastic one. I hated to use it, as I really like the rotocast figure, but what I originally had planned didn't work out so well (using Stormshadow nunchuks and sculpting the holster). The holster I sculpted looked good, but was way too big, even for S6 standards, because the nunchuks are fat. The D's were traced in pencil and hand painted.

He's chip free, as I sanded his joints pretty well, and even went over the disk parts with sharpy before painting them.

He looks great Mundo.

Sigma style is so versatile.

but all rhymes aside it really shows that there is a lot of potential with the sigma scale. I hope Hasbro revives it in some manner.

Damn that's a nice figure. Even better than the Punisher.

What's next?

That looks incredible! I'd love to see you tackle Cap or Wolvie the same way.

This is a very slick custom. Every once in a while someone pulls out an amazing Sigma 6 custom that makes me sad that the line went away.

Simple and elegant all at the same time. The gloves had me looking back a few times to try to figure out what figure they came from. They are sculpted so well I thought they were factory. The head works really well for DD and the mods are very nicely done. I can't wait to see what else you might be cooking up in this format.

Man, all these cool S6 customs popping up make me regret not bringing my S6 fodder with me when I moved (its in storage at the folks :( )

Sweet custom, and glad to hear that putty works. I was looking at buying some the other day because I'm running low and thought, "hmm... cheaper, may be decent." But couldn't bring myself to buy it because, well, it's a Billy Maze product. Now that someone else has used it and vouched, I'll be picking some up.

The custom itself, just spectacular. I would've never thought of using a Destro like that, but now that I see it, it just looks so natural. Really good work.

Awesome custom, I know that red had to be a real pain to paint.
Any other Comic book characters planned for Sigma 6 treatment?

That looks awesome.

My only tiny crit is the boot "laces". I dunno, I just think they'd look better sanded off. :-/

He looks awesome, are the double "D's" hand painted or water slide decals ?

Super job on him.

Great job. I'd be tempted to buy that in the store.
