That's the point right there! This was inherently subjective and it's fine that we have all opinons but your argument to me is that I can't comment on someone's opinion? If someone has an opinon on this board, the rest of us are banned from commenting on their opinion?

All in presentation read again:

but I was a little concerned about the anti-25th undertones between the lines.

That isn't just commenting on an opinion, that is implying the opinion stated is just wrong.

Bandy wants to drop it, Hawk wasn't offended, and being a "little concerned" isn't the same as saying "I'm not going to read another crappy anti-25th review from these two hacks". Let's stay on topic.

My biggest problem with that figure is that he looks bloated when he doesn't have the cape. And unfortunately, when he has the cape, he has limited articulation. True, I'm not a fan of that figure style, but there are new sculpt figures that I think are fantastic. This isn't one of them.

This figure would have shined three years ago, given the spotty quality of the new sculpt figures, but with the arrival of the better articulated, better sculpted, better accessorized, and better packaged 25th, this figure only serves as a reminder of how little effort Hasbro actually put into the new sculpt line.

This figure suffers all of the oft-heard maladies of the new sculpt era. The proportions, while better than some new sculpt, still makes CC look like a pudgy, Tonka truck driver. The weapons are rehashed. And the cape and hood, while nice, make the figure look even more out of proportion. It's a throwback to a time when Hasbro couldn't figure out what they wanted to do with the line, when Joe needed a yearly theme to attract kids that still weren't interested, when figures were so outrageously hit or miss, peg warming and unpopular, that Joe found its way into that vague realm called hiatus.

Simply put, this figure is the wrong sculpt at the wrong time and offered through the wrong channel. It's hardly worth the $6 it would have fetched at retail three years ago, but for the officer price of $20 or the laughable, non member price of $62.00, all I can say is that you've got to be "LASER BLAST" kidding me.

I'm glad someone else posted that! I thought my computer was having an eppy!
$62 for that? Ha no.

I really like the figure, but even $20 is a bit much. $10 sounds more reasonable.
That said, I'd still love one if anyone can hook me up. ;-)

I like the figure too. The sculpting is top notch and I too like how he looks regal yet ready for battle. The cobra stamp on his mask is a pretty neat touch. I like how the cape works and this is probably my favorite Commander rag mask.

My only issue with thsi figure is that the VvV thumb issue makes it so he can't hold the staff very well. Every once in a while it falls out of his hand and this is while he is just standing at attention on my desk. And I'm like "Hey, Cobra Commander's staff keeps popping out of his hand."
