Okay, so every individual Indiana Jones figure comes with a little cardboard box of various sizes, that contains some sort of archaeological artifact from one of the movies, and a sticker that can be used to order a Crystal Skeleton figure.

I guess what I'm wondering is -- well, two-fold. Does anyone know how many artifacts are out there? To date, I have the Chachapoyan Temple Carving, the Eye of the Peacock, the Sankara Stone, the Ankh of Osiris, the Chalice of Khali, and the Crystal Skull of Akator (a better version than the one Indy is holding in his hand with the one figure, in my opinion).

Now, I'm not going to go out there and buy a mess more of Indy figures JUST for the artifacts. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how many there are, and also (here's the second part) whether the Holy Grail Cup is one of them? The Ark of the Covenant would be too big to be included here, but the Cup would work. That'd be one I'd sort of be interested in.

The Grail will come with Elsa, I believe.

I beleive someone has listed all the artifacts in the Indy thread. Both the Grail and False Grail are coming out in the next series from the Last Crusade.

There are "17" relics in the first wave of figures.

Else comes with the False Grail, and Dr. Henry Jones comes with the True Grail. Also the Grail Knight comes with a 3 3/4 version of the True Grail.

Yup there's one artifact in every box.

Some cooler than others but I like them all in one shape or form.

In the end I ended up getting one of each figure just for the artifact.

I'm thinking that when the figures go on clearance I'm going to buy a bunch of the evil chick from Crystal skull just to have a bunch of the crystal skull artifacts.

the ark in 1:18th size comes with a deluxe figure i believe of indy in maproom garb. VERY cool ark!

Yes, greenshirt, every one of those little cardboard boxes comes with a plastic artifact and a small printed sticker naming the artifact. You can use six of the stickers to mail-order a full Crystal Skeleton with Throne (mine'll be going out tomorrow).

Civilgod, from the sound of things, I wouldn't get my hopes up about this line going to clearance anytime soon. I was hoping that it would continue beyond the movie, and if figures of Elsa and Dr. Jones Sr. are in the works, then clearly Hasbro has some major plans for this line, which certainly pleases me! Glad to hear we will be getting the Grail, too! Not going to knock myself out collecting all of the artifacts, but those are figures I would likely want anyway.

(BTW, can someone provide a link to that thread with the list of them?)

I have very high hopes for an ongoing Indiana Jones line. They've got plenty of characters from four movies - and heck, if they want to, they can even throw in the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, perhaps. There's a lot of potential, I believe, for a fairly extensive run for Indiana Jones in the toy stores, and I hope it gets it.

(Anybody army-building Russian or German soldiers?)
