The title of this thread may be misleading, so I hope you guys let it slide.

For the past few months I've been working on this project, I've been getting criticism for this project of mine.

I was concerned about how people would react to this thing, so I'd rather let you guys (joe forum community) give some feedback. (see below.)

Sorry, pics removed. :(

Yep, I'm making a CosPlay costume that was intended for the upcoming JoeCon. Unfortunately, the excursion is not going to happen since the cost for fuel for travel is going to be inflated this summer.

Just being brief..... please post some feedback.

Thanks much, guys. =)

Wow. It looks pretty sharp so far. I say, keep going with it.

How are you doing the helmet?

Looks like pure win so far. Curious how you'll do the helmet.

Just wait and see, Soul Man. :D

I just might show the helmet "preview" for it if I get enough feedback.

Like maybe 50+ posts... tops.

P.S. "views" counts are not the same as "posts" counts on this thread. 8-O

Leave some feedback will you guys? ;-)

I like the costume, it's well translated to the real world. I'm not a fan of you holding the helmet hostage until you get enough replies. I say show the helmet if you want feedback or want to show it off. I almost didn't post feedback in this thread because of how boldly you asked for it.

I'm with Scramble! It is this board's policy not to negotiate with terrorists! Release the helmet immediately or face military action!

The rest of the costume is looking good.

You can't make it this year, but there's always the next one. Plus there's Halloween coming up. It looks good so far.

NICE!!!
Posting the helmet will only help you. We can see things you might have overlooked so you can fix / adjust and make it look better. Don't count on 50 posts.

Not bad at all!
Are you planning on a black see-through visor for the eyes?

That is so a WIN costume. That is up there with the East TN Twins and what they did up for last years Con.

Its a shame you cant make it to the Con. That would have definetly gotten you some pics on the various boards and whatnot.

Very nice on the mask. I think i might be able to guess on the formula :shifty:

Nevermind the con or halloween, you should wear this around town. Going to the grocery store, going to the movies, that sort of thing.

There's also Dragon Con in Atlanta where all the costume crazy come to show there costumes from all genre of Sci-Fi, horror, comic book and action films, t.v. and print. Its the first weekend in September or so just goto Dragon Con.com for more details. I'll attach a few shots from last year.

Unfortunately I can't find the pic of the Joe costumes I had, but you get the idea, every year we get over 200 storm troopers and more.
Even the King showed up.
