They actually have a re-paint of that one coming out, but this one looks different & has a different "transformation" setup.

But based on the playset setup and the appearance of the Tumbler version in each, they appear to be different sets (although I don't know why they'd bother.)

I found this picture, looks like it might be that playset, and might be for the bigger figures, the Joker in that packaging looks like a cardboard cutout, not sure about batman.

Off topic, but regarding the 'transform' usage in the packaging:

What I find interesting is that Hasbro's competitors now tend to use 'TRANSFORM' to describe their toys changing from one form to another. From what I understand from what IP lawyers in the TF fandom have said about this subject, it may be an attempt by the competitors to get "Transformers" to become a genericised trademark so they can use it as a generic term to describe their converting toys as "Transformers". That's what happened to Bayer and Aspirine, an has affected brands such as Kleenex, jell-o and xerox.

As such, Hasbro almost strictly forbids using the term 'transform' in their official documentation, preferring to use 'convert'.

Say what you will about it, I think the 4in. Tumbler is great. Definitely feels more like a Batmobile to me than it did before, more sleek and speedy than hulking. Plus it feels like it fits better with Joe vehicles than were it truescale, considering things like most of the Joe jets.

That small Tumbler would make a cool tank. Something along the idea of the Rage. It would take some modifications of course, but it would still be neat.

So why can't Hasbro get figures in store if Mattel of all people can get their toys in store? I hadn't seen this Tumbler before, but after it being mentioned I looked for it and found it.

Yeah it's smaller than I'd figure it should be in this scale. It's like the Speed Racer cars small, but without Batman sticking out of the top. For some reason I kind of like it though. I can still see a cool tank being made out of it.

I like the tan/camo version, plan on getting a few of that one. Looks pretty cool as small assault vehicle, maybe add some MJ gattling guns, to them.

I picked up the Bat Bunker tonight at Target. It's definitely made for kids, as it's mentioned in the instructions that it's supposed to be a portable playset that can be expanded anywhere. It collapses to the size of a fat agenda/ day planner and Batman stores on the outside. The Batman, of course, needs a little tweaking, but overall I'm happy with the purchase. I didn't notice any Tumblers there, but I might have just overlooked them. I'll get some pics a little later tonight ;)

I took these pics in my basement kitchen, so the lighting isn't the greatest.

Overview of the whole thing. Batman sliding down the cable:

I'll be working on this articulation tonight:
Image

What a failure. The rope is too long for Batman to swing. I think that folded green piece is a spring board that's supposed to launch Batman while he's on the rope.
Image

Another failure. You're supposed to clip Batman onto the other side of the door and flip it so he changes to...a sticker of Bruce Wayne. I really hope the Bruce 4" figure looks like that, because the one with the car definitely doesn't have that head sculpt:
Image

Functional door. It works like...a door:
Image

Platform that barely holds the figure's weight because of the spring-loaded pop-up feature. With the limited articulation, Batman can't grasp both handles simultaneously:
Image

Collapsed form:

The 2-pack figures are showing up now at Target stores. Sadly, they ALL include a Batman figure, so if you were planning on getting a Joker, Scarecrow, etc., get ready to pass or have a load of Batman figures.

That 4" Bruce Wayne figure looks cool.
Is it just a sticker or is it available somewhere?

Bruce Wayne is available via the 2-packs or the Lamborghini set, but looks nothing like Christian Bale. He looks more like Face from the A-Team. I would have bought it if it looked like the sticker.

Two packs of 4" figures?
Humm...
I check on TRU's website and it says that the figure with the coupe is 5"...
