I got burned about 5 yrs ago when I bought a Terror Drome on the YoJoe Forums. For nine months the guys kept saying he was real busy and would get it out next week. Then I quit hearing from him. I tried for over a year to resolve the situation. Before I could, he disappeared from the forums. I found out that he came back recently, but am not sure how to handle the situation. I've gotten a new Terror Drome, so that's not an issue. Should I let him go? If I contact him, what should I say? |

I'd call him out on it...or at the very least let ohters know who he is as to prevent it from happening to another |

Definately call him out on it or let it be known there. Cause if you don't then someone else will be taken on another trade he tries to do. |

Contact him privately and see if he's willing to work it out. I had a situation a few years ago where a guy ripped me for several hundred dollars. He came back around after two years and wanted to make amends. I got my money back. So, it can happen. However, if you get no private satisfaction, then take it public. But, at least give him a chance to make it right. |

I'd contact him privately, but if he is shady, call him out on here to warn others. |

Yeah, I agree with Mike T. and Matthew. Privately and then publicly if you aren't satisfied. |

One last chance at redemption. Please go public and save someone a possible hassle if things don't work out. BTW I was burned pretty badly by a guy whom I had dealt with rather positively from this board, I had even written a good trader note for him. It really changes you once you get burned. |

Since this is so specifically related to a trading experience, it really should be in this forum rather than general Joes talk. If you do contact the person and want to update, please follow this forum's rules regarding the titling of the thread (use the person's name) and keep your follow up comments to the specifics of the deal gone wrong. That will be the most helpful information to others who might have otherwise traded or dealt with this person. Thanks. |

bonus points if you copy & paste the old emails into any posts calling him out. esp. since he could be doing trades via PM on the site anyway.. |
