Hello all, I was just going to finally drop my "trade" issue with a member. Saw a post he made about being able to" put a down payment on a house" in another thread and it upset me. About 2 years ago I traveled to Sputnikcon in Ohio. I met quite a good group of JCERs there: Lance Sputnik, Nova, Chief, Amazon Girl, Viperlord, and Yojoe-A-Gogo I took all my joes and left them all there as I had given up on the hobby I had made a deal with Viperlord a lot figures( I can't recall now but some were 98 grey and Blue vipers) that he would pay me when he returned home. We agreed on a price that was over $200 is all I recall, ATM ( need to look through some PMs). A few weeks months passed and he still communicated with me via PM saying he was sorry for the delay and even mentioned he would be shipping me Lego's free of charge to make up for the delay. I think a few months passed and I Pm'd him again, he read it but never replied. I sent a few more up until a year ago, and he never replied just read them. I'm a patient person and am not the fastest at shipping out, but I always gome through in the end. I feel my "trust" was spit on in the situation . I figured over 2 years was long enough to wait before I posted something about him, though I probably won't see any of the money, I figured the community of JC should know for future trades or sales. |

dam-sorry bro I had the same trouble http://www.joecustoms.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1726&start=15 I went through the same deal w/ him, I wrote if off as learning experience but it only cost me 14. |

Just a quick update: it's been 10 days since I posted this message, I have heard nothing. He has posted on Facebook as of yesterday. He has been absent fro the board since the 5th it appears though...hmmm I have asked him on FB, here and also sent an e-mail reminding him of the entire transaction we made. I am just getting ignored at this point it seems. It has bee a month and 21 days since I posted this. Still no communication via PM, or reply via the e-mails I have sent. Also he has ignored Facebook messages as well, but he has been on there posting on there posting on other FB pages. Hopefully, my experience will help some of you out in the future (especially when the Con Exclusive sets are sought after). |
