I've got 5 or more Wolves...the cobra Vehicle...at least 2 are just trashed shells that should honestly just be tossed...but I do enjoy painting vehicles.

Any particular colors or patterns you think would look good on a WOLF?

Ideas other than Tiger Force or Python Patrol?

Looking for somthing that'd be visualy striking...also keep in mind the Wolf has a Lot of negative Space with the canopy's and venting for the Ski-pedos.

There was also a mail away Wolf with a different color scheme as well. Think YoJoe has a pic of it.

I think something like Carnage did here would look pretty good on the wolf. http://www.joecustoms.com/customs/custo ... 144&id=534

Maybe a plain Cobra blue one woudl work too.

Grey and white camo woudl work but probably isn't that interesting.

Red and white for the Canadian release. :D

The Mail away wolf just had Black/Dark grey ski-pedos and rocket bay.

I can't see joedio's from work but I'll check it out later.

overall I'm just trying to brain storm up some colors or patterns...whatever might look cool on the Wolf.

A nice blue/gray camo scheme would fit with Cobra's style. Use a dark blue and medium gray over the base white then slap some bright red Cobra logos on it and you're golden.

I do like that Carange Whale...I may have to try somthing like that...maybe a little transparent blue over silver...some Dark Blue flecks...kinda Pythony...but a little more rigid and frigid...Snowflake pattern would be lame...but a lightning crackel/ice crack pattern might be cool...possibilities.

Remind me to wear my Foil hat when I'm around you Pluv... I think you and I are SO on the same wavelength, I'd be scared of what would come up were our thoughts to get all crossy tangled.

just a little laying out I was thinking of doing for the "Maple W.O.L.F"

Oddly appropriate as I'm pretty sure have the Wolf Shells I have are from the Free Table.

Inverted? That's crazy. I love it. Now just give the ski-pedos moose antlers. :D

I think a weathered one with extra cold weather gear would look pretty badass.

Tie dyed look with the colors from Crystal Ball's shield. Call it the Snow Ball.

Paint it yellow.

I've always wanted to see a yellow snow vehicle.

Seriously, there are many things you could do.

-Add some antennas to make a Command version.

-Wasn't there a MOTH set with a Ice-Viper? He needs an exclusive vehicle.

-How about a Cobra Zamboni made from a WOLF?

My question was how do these vehicles even operate? They have skis, but what moves them? Are they like a snowmobile? Rocket powered?

There's tank treads near the back of the vehicle. They do fold up for going downhill I guess. The MOTH version is the one I linked to on JoeDios as well. :-P

I agree about Carnage's one of my all time favorite paint schemes ever.

How about as a rescue vehicle?

Or, what about a nautical version? Using a traditional Navy or Coast Guard paint scheme. Think of the Ski-pedoes as jet-skis, and the removable jet powered snow skis could be self propelled water-skis.

Another option is to use a more traditional military color scheme - using model kit stickers for say, a WWII Navy or Vietnam Era Airforce airplane paint scheme - grey with a blue stripe, some touches of yellow and orange.

Why these color schemes when they have nothing to do with polar regions or Canada ?

- 'cause they look cool together and make vehicles look awesome.

I googled a bunch of images but since I can only upload three I opted not to upload most of them. Google the P-51 Mustang, the F-86 Sabre, the HH-65 Dolphin to get some ideas.

Slaughter's Marauders colors! Vehicle or figure pattern, either works.

I've had an extra wolf sitting around here for awhile now that I was planning on painting the same as the Whale but I have just never got around to it. I actaully have several vehicles that I want to paint like to make up a new Artic sup group idea I have been throwing around. Besides the Whale and Wolf I also have an Avalanche and Equailzer that I want to paint up as well. Nova if you do decide to go with something like the Whale, just shoot me a PM and Ill try to explain how I painted the whale for you.
