So... I've been reading anecdotes of the myriad of alleged uses of WD-40 and I was wondering if it can act as a topcoat or sealant (especially at the joints)?

Or if it can be used as a solvent to remove or strip custom or factory paints?

Or maybe, since it is a "Water Displacement" formula, maybe it can be used as a quick drying agent for acrylic & water based paints?

Does anyone know if it has any negative effects on paint or plastics?
