so, i want to use a tylenol bottle in a custom, but when i went to take the paper label off the bottle, it tore, leaving the fuzzy paper adhered to the plastic -- anyone have any tips for taking labels off these things -- (want to do it to a vitamin bottle, too) |

Goo Gone. Everyone should have this in their house anyway. This stuff can remove just about any stuck on mess from just about any solid surface. Great for removing price tag residue from MOC bubbles and the like. Take off as much of the label as you can with your fingers, spray Goo Gone and let it stand for a couple of minutes to fully let it sink in and then wipe off with a paper towel. You might have to repeat the process a couple of times but it will end up looking like the lable was never there. |

Goo Gone is pretty reliable, though it didn't help at all with the stickers on my TRU version of the PTE Blackhawk. You could also try hot water and soap, maybe run it through the dishwasher on the top rack? But I make no promises that it won't melt. |

If all else fails Fingernail polish remover, BE very careful it will fade what ever you use it on,but if you going to paint it, it doesn't matter. |

Then, take the wet Q-tip and completely cover the labels with it. Wait about 5 seconds and it peels right up. Once the label is off, repeat the process on any left over man-goo and the stuff dries itself. Works great for removing decals, etc and for taking labels off of MOC stuff. Get a 40% off coupon from Michaels in the Sunday paper and get a bottle. Lasts a long time and works very, very well. |
