I'm in need of a Bowler/Derby hat for a Joe I'm working on. I really don't want to sculpt it, so if anyone knows of a compatible toy line with a figure with a bowler hat, please let me know.

just looked. no such luck :/

I did find some Riddler figures have bowler hats, but I don't know if the scale would work.

I don't know if this will work, and maybe another member here will be able to add to this, but at Wal-mart I have seen these little wind-up stick figure type toys in various bright colors. They are about three inches tall and there is several different characters.

I think the packaging is like a cylinder. There was one with a ballcap and one with a cowboy hat. It's possible there's one with a bowler/derby hat.

My local W-M had them clearanced last week.

Anybody know the name of these or seen them that can add to this?

Any of the animated Riddlers will work as their heads are bigger than your average RAH head and way bigger than VvV or 25th sculpt. Shoudlbe perfect for making a removable hat.

I think GIJoey just sent me a head with a Derby. Let me look, and I'll post a pic. I haven't cast it yet.

I'm thinking about those, but I'm putting in the Unmasked Storm Shadow head, so I'm afraid they will be too big. Plus not having one in hand is hard.

McDonald's released a Riddler figure in 1993 that's pretty much Joe scale. Might work for what you need, and there are a few auctions on the 'Bay:

that looks great. if you are casting it I'd be in for a couple. It may be too big for the figure I'm working on, but I can always change the head. You wouldn't happen to have any cast asian heads would you?

Whoa. I'd buy a few of those too if you cast it.

JFAK075...

That pic with the Crankcase head looks like a great start to a SHIELD Dugan custom.

I could also see someone throwing that hat and that head on a Headman body and with a little work (like white spats) they could have a period civilian custom.

Hmmm, that would work with the TimeCop Van Damme custom I was thinking about doing...
