Post subject:  FIREFLY LOGO........
In my Joe-Verse Firefly is not enlisted in Cobra, but is simply affiliated through employment with Cobra. Therefore, the standard Cobra symbol is just not suitable for a background or filecard symbol to represent Firefly and his Night Creepers.

So......I was curious if any of you graphic designers have created a Firefly symbol or is interested in making one? It would be great to add to the JCwiki too.
I've searched the web and found nothing, so, at this point, ANYTHING would do!

This was from a collection with many of the Wiki logos

It said it's for Firefly, but it's nothing fancy

That would be the call outs on the Flak-Viper's chest showing how many planes he's taken down.

Somebody at Hasbro made a mistake when they printed the HOF manual with all those logos.

When we did the Stormfront custom group project Sapper created the logo for what is essentially Firefly's own cadre of mercenaries. Stormfront.

The Stormfront idea is the exact type of concept I wanna capture in the logo, but revolved around the Night Creepers and Cobra (or something like that).
The Stormfront is a great idea, but I'm looking for something that's stronger in the representation of Firefly.

A clearer explanation.....To understand the Stormfront logo, you'd have to read into it. I'm looking for more of a visual. You see the logo, you know it's Firefly's set. Cobra has the hooded cobra, the IG's have a Destro dome shanked with a dagger, the Coil has a hooded cobra too, but slithering making it distinct from the Cobra logo.....Firefly needs one too!

In the HOF booklet, the Flak-Vipers also had a logo, so I wonder if the too got switched up. The Flak Viper (from the HOF guide) one is pretty cool.

So something like a Firefly bug with an explosion coming off his tail. This is a really rough ms paint job. But something where you look at it and know exactly who it represents. Right?

Hmmmmm.....That's pretty cool P-Luv :)

But, How 'bout we kill all the detail and make it more solid. Maybe color it green, and use a slightly lighter green for the wings, on a black back drop instead of a colorful explosion. Also, perhaps we could put a small cobra symbol on the thorax between the wings!? A little red one.
And.........how about getting it a little thinner? Just a lil bit :wink:

I do like what you did with the camo (and the explosion), but I think we should go with something solid on this one.

LMK, and if so.....I look foreward to it! :D

I looked around, had no luck finding a decent logo style pic of a firefly with it's wings extended, but this could be a decent start . . .

Though I think that looks more like maybe a wasp or something. Still, it could work depending on what you were after.

Did you modify the Predacons' logo for that? Looks pretty cool.
