So I figure eventually I'll get around to doing a Python Patroll Dr Mindbender, and most likely Snow Serpent. I just need to decide which version of the Python pattern to do, and here is your chance to help me out... I think the origanl Pythonizing has a retro quirkiness that I sort of dig, but the modern scheme looks cooler. The retro one sort of fits the Mindbender character a little better too, I think, but then I could also switch it up a bit and sub in the classsic Mindbender colors too, which might look sort of cool. What do YOU prefer? (Bear in mind that I will most likely end up doing what MY preference is, but your input is certainly welcome) |

Yea, I've been a fan of that SS for a loooong time.  I am so torn on the Mindbender though. One part of me just likes the TRU pattern the best in general, and another part of me really thinks that a purple/black/silver would look cool (but it would be pretty minimal - just cape and pants...), and then another part of me has a yellow comic pack Serpentor cape that would work perfect for the old school version... |

If this were for a super cool character I'd say the new PP colors since they just look bad ass. The classic greys with yellow and a touch of red seems to fit better with your project though. Heck you could even add that cape with Mindbender v.2's yellow pants. |

I think you need to do the Classic colors...and just like PP Copper Head...you need to Pythonize Dr Mindbender's skin....only I'd go all the way and even pythonize his face |

I dunno. That's almost TOO hardcore. I'm not sure I could do it. Sure, it's true to the way they did it old school stlye on Copperhead, but I've always thought it was lame that they did that to Copperhead. Plus that would be a really tricky surface to do I would think (the head)... |

I say get a v2 body and use the v1 head and pythonize the v2 body so he don't have to pythonize his skin.

You know I think this is an opertunity to make a Snow Serpants that is close to being the arch nemisis of Euorpeian Tiger Force Blizzard (AKA Yellow Snow). Then again I could be just joking. Still original is best for SS but I like your Mindbender's colors idea for the Mindbender. Thus I didn't actually vote (but i did stay at a holiday inn express last night). |
