Okay, so I'm making this helicopter custom for my Reign of the Serpent project. And I'm designing it to be the personal vehicle for the Crimson Twins. But I can't decide on a color scheme. Here's the WIP picture...structurally it's complete, save for some sanding and clean-up.

Image

here are the schemes I'm considering:

-Red body with black and silver accents

Pros: Matches the Crimson Twins color scheme

Cons: Requires me to spraypaint, and I live in an apartment

-Black Body w/ Red Accents

Pros: Still matches Crimson Twins color scheme, doesn't require me to spraypaint

Cons: Won't look much different than the original RHINO chopper, might not be as striking as the red-bodied option

-Black Body w/ Gold Accents

Pros: Would go with the Reign of the Serpent Serpentor's Forces color scheme, wouldn't require spraypainting.

Cons: Wouldn't match the Crimson Twins color scheme, again, wouldn't look much different than the original RHINO chopper.

Those are my thoughts, at least.

I feel the apartment/spray paint pains having just moved into one with my girlfriend. Even so, I think the black with red accents would fit better in your 'verse. Red base would be good for a straight Joeverse but your RotS verse is a lot darker. The way I would make it look less like the RHINO copter is go heavy on the red and maybe use 2 or 3 shades to give it some depth. Perhaps paint the winglets and tailfins in in a scale pattern with a metallic red paint?

Oh and the additions to the copter are brilliant! The gunpods look a bit heavy but the additional rotor blades and modified tail help give it more power to balance it out.

Can't wait to see how this comes out.
