Divination BAT
The details of the development of the Divination BAT are a closely guarded secret, though many believe that they are the accidental result of several failed experiments in Dr Mindbener's lab. At it's core, the Divination BAT is made up of an unknown substance, the formula for which was smuggled out of the former Soviet Union by a Crimson Guard whose cover had been blown. After several metallurgical tests, the substance was discarded, where it mistakenly got combined with the material used in a prototype BAT with experimental AI. Once the BAT went online, it's quirky old world behavior (the AI was written by a video game code protege) led Cobra leadership to scrap the project, and the DBat became just another lab assistant, until one day the BAT inexplicably reached out and palmed Dr Mindbender's forehead. Immediately Mindbender started forming plans for his new toy and how best he could use it to his advantage when another lab BAT knocked over the stasis tanks, which matched one of the images that had meant nothing to Dr Mindbender, and he started to realize what it was he had. In true egotistical form, he crafted the some rudimentary vocal chips for the BAT, and placed his own likeness on the BAT's access panel, creating a sort of 'magic mirror' for himself to use. the predictions of the D BAT do not go far into the future, but Mindbender HAS found it to be a useful tool nonetheless, particularly when he has needed information from some unsuspecting individual, or when he is setting out on a task the Cobra upper echelon would not approve of...

I'm not entirely pleased with the name, but the bio still works for my current plans with Operation:Mindcrime, I'm just thinking of changing the name to Timebender
