is there a source for hip ball/bars to use in after market modern figures? maybe a caster or 3d printer that makes them?

Hip joint is all I've ever called them.

Crotch balls. I've never seen anyone sell them without selling a figure kit to go with it. And since every brand and even every iteration of that brand are slightly different, they aren't universal. So even if you have two Joe figures, if they weren't produced at roughly the same time (within a wave or two of each other), the crotch balls might not fit the legs right.

"Crotch Balls" sounds a new Joecustome motto or mascot.

Maybe there should be a wiki entry with a breakdown of the construction and parts of these newer figures?
