Looking for one in Joe scale, ideally with the stock out. Thought maybe Marauders had done one but I'm not finding it now. Anyone know if they've shown up in other toylines?

Star Wars version probably not gonna work.

sterling is the british sub gun.

i think i have a german mp40 that is from sgt. savage line. that 21st/ultimate soldier line might have a british set in 1:18 ,but i'm not seeing one via search.

i think this is 1:18 and a sten.

the sterling here is the only one i see anywhere in our scale. the sten looks better to me.

are you going for a historically accurate figure or just want the look?

My bad, got it in my head the Sterling was german. Thanks for clearing that up. Definitely looking for the Sterling.

Kinda trying to match a movie where someone is carrying one. The Marauders one is "modified" to be a Star Wars blaster. Looking for a "real world" version.

There was a Corps! one in blue, and Lamprey had a silver one.

The 25th Lamprey is close-ish but still not "accurate". Would be a good enough if I can find one cheap. Do you happen to know about what era Corps released one? Modernist or 80's/90's?

Probably going to be what I have to end up going with, holding out hope for something a little closer.

There was a Star Wars one with the stock extended at some point, but now I can't remember what line/figure it came with.

I appreciate the help everyone!

Corps was 80s/90s and I was thinking of the ARAH Lamprey silver gun.

Not really a Sterling, but it shares some of the features of one.

Yeah the classic lamprey gun looks like a mashup of a bunch of different ww2 guns. The modern one is a little closer.

the tubular receiver smg's should be the easiest to scratch build :)

i looked through all my guns and didn't come up with anything that would pass for a sterling. i did mess around with a few things and took pics just in case you were interested.

this is a piece i mocked up awhile back for a calico rifle aka spaceballs blaster. just cut the two sw pieces and pinned together so far.
Image

that got me looking at this longer sw weapon. mine are for another project so i didn't cut one up, but if you cut one using the sw sterlings length the middle section might pass as a sterling with no stock.Image
you would also need to trim the laser looking bit under the hg.then you can build a stock out of wire or something.

i took a lego sw rifle and tried it real quick.
eta b4 pic
Image
here i cut the stock and scope off. added a little steel cap(not necessary), and drilled a hole for the stock. i bent it into shape.
it is a functioning folding stock. i started with it folding under.

but then switched to top folding

you could also make a side folding wire stock by drilling a hole from top to bottom instead of left to right.

also here is a lego blaster pistol and a scrap stock from my gun parts bag.

Ha, that's a cool approach. I think modding a SW sterling is probably my best bet, and splicing on a stock.

It's a minor, minor accessory for what I'm working on, but would just be a nice to have detail.
