Who here has worked with glow in the dark paint ? I have done some research and am looking for best options. Wanting to go with a bright neon green glow but also have it neon green when it’s in a lighted area . Unlike typical glow in the dark paint that is off white normally. Glow powder seems to be the way to go but want to know how it reacts to acrylic paint mix ? |

There are different colored GITD acrylics available at all craft stores and Wal-Mart. I have several different different colors by Folkart and they are pretty nice. |

For anything I do glow in the dark, I do a base coat of the bright green I want, then thin coats of glow in the dark spray paint, or the craft glow paints, depending on level of detail required. Over that I may do another thin green wash, if it still looks like it needs some ooomf. I haven’t found one catch-all paint that fits all my needs. Casting in a glowing material may be the best option. |
