Did anyone ever come up with a good plan to make a new set of claws for the various birds? I was thinking about trying hot glue but figured I would look around here first. |

I've transplanted other birds claws, new sculpt softer talons, and I sculpted some with green stuff. Both are fine and still function years later. I have not seen anyone stright up cast replacement talons and something tells me they'd sell more casting the whole bird and it would be stronger than any replacement attachment. |

Is green stuff flexible? Ive never used that before just apoxie and miliput neither of which have any sort of flex. As for casters no doubt whole birds would be a better option for them. Ive just been ebaying a lot lately and saw all those poor feetless birds out there and wondered. |

I bought some of the marauder "c clips?" that someone used for plug-n-play arah bird claws. I haven't used them yet...I was thinking maybe lego or other block style hands. |

Green stuff isn't so much flexible as it has some give to it. It is a lot more forgiving in that regard than apoxie or miliput. That is what makes it better for removable armor or fixing hinges or what have you. You can always add more yellow than blue to make it more flexible.

I went though all my stuff and apparently I traded poor footless Freedom at some point. Im going to track one down and test the Marauder's c clip thing since I need to order a couple items from him anyhow. |
