a highlighter or other marker might make your arms. you could have diff. ends (marker caps) that pop on/off. |

Could you post a pic of the torso next to a Joe? Too hard to get a sense of scale for suggestions for me otherwise. There's plenty of potential, but the size is the big decider. |

Here's a pic showing it next to a Joe scale fig.

I have some of this from the dollar store. a solid copper wire inside would give you full articulation that will hold in place. ![]() https://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-SPLIT-SLEEVE-WIRING-HARNESS-LOOM-FLEXABLE-WIRE-COVER-PROTECTION-FLEX/252553728169?hash=item3acd6010a9:m:mI1Wnnax39YTpDXl2SRAWAg:rk:6:pf:0 many sizes are out there too. a more expensive option, but worth a look. these should also give you full articulation with an internal wire. also many other types available. ![]() https://www.ebay.com/itm/SPARK-PLUG-WIRE-BOOTS-HEAT-SHIELD-PROTECTOR-SLEEVE-SBC-BBC-Titanium-1800/173334640434?epid=2274634671&hash=item285b8cb732:g:fbcAAOSwXudbB6Sn:rk:29:pf:0 |

My first thought was that robot design looks a lot like Disney Gizmoduck, which has a single wheel design. As for a wheel, how about using one from the various Ninja Lightning motorcycle designs? Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Kamakura all had their own versions. https://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/04/ninjalightningcycle/ I would also suggest the Wheel Blaster Bike that came with Firefly. https://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/12/wheelblaster/ |

Thanks guys! I knew those arm tubes existed. I might try the hardware store to see if I can find them locally and in smaller lengths. It's funny, I have that Firefly cycle on my workbench right now for a different project but I wanted to take out that middle wheel...I didn't know that it had an action feature that would make it so easy. I think the wheel is too narrow for my use. I am leaning toward a Thundermachine tire even though I'm sure it only have the hubcap detail on one side. Or a motorcycle with a fatboy tire if I can find one around easily. |

Finished- IF I ever had access to a 3d printer again and the ability to do it again, there's a lot I'd change but overall I'm happy.

I really like the used look it has. Gives it an immediate history and character. |
