.... I hope that didn't come out wrong....

SO, I'm working on a fig, got my Torso/Hip combo, which looks decent. Problem is that the hips are WAY too loose. Seriously... I can make him dance to 'Maniac' from flashdance.

Any tips on fixing this? Time is of the essence.

silicone caulk
hot glue
a small square of electrical tape
strip of a rubber band

assuming your figure has screw together hip "halves" , you could place any of the above in one half where the metal "ball" sits and screw them together.

if it is a "pop" in hip ball , you could cover the ball with electric tape or even deform the ball to get a tighter fit.

Assuming it’s a joe figure (metal tbar) best solution I’ve found is a cautiously placed drop of super glue. Have the legs attached, have the legs out sideways splits style. And drop a small drop into the crack where you can kind of see the metal ball on each side.

The key is to then keep moving and rotating the legs. For way longer than you think necessary. To keep the joint from locking up.

Honestly, even when that has happened, I’ve been able to pop it without breaking. Regardless, it then becomes some semi-permanent added friction and can save a figure
