Angry Nomad Customs

He's primarily shrinking heads down to 1:18 right now. He came to my attention when drbindy placed an order and got his pieces within a few days.

I placed an order based on ^his experience, got a notice my stuff shipped same day -- received my order two days later.

Quality? Excellent.

Customer Service? Excellent.

Range of Product? Good for a start.

Price? Decent for what you're getting, especially for the work that goes into the product before it's listed on the site -

here are some of the ones I got. I know unknownsoldier13 also had a good experience and has been showing off some MOTU heads.

I got those ghostbusters as well, I really like your build ... have to rethink mine ...

I also got the King Hiss head ... making a new Cobra Field General (possibly updated Serpantor)

No. I should. I have been tempted to try casting myself but haven't gotten around to it.

They have those kits at Hobby Lobby if you get a 1/2 coupon if your interested in trying it..

I may look into that. I have watched several YouTube videos on how to do it. I have several old figures that I would like to have heads of. I have 4 of 5 of the dragon riders of Styx that I world love to have extra heads of. Thanks, normally i avoid hobby lobby cause my wife spends too much there but I will check it out next time we go.

Ordered some stuff from Angry Nomad on Saturday. Got it today (yes, really!)

Really good stuff - no bubbles, minimal need to sand the flash bits. Being shrunken heads, the neck-sockets will need some hot glue/modding to fit on the figs, but size-wise they're all really great.

The Hope Summers head is especially perfect on the older MU female. And don't even get me started on how great the Trap-Jaw and Odin heads are.

But quality and variety aside, the speed at which these shipped amazed the crap out of me. When I order custom heads, it's because I have an idea and want to work on it NOW. Not having to wait more than a week or two is a must. Getting the order same week? Priceless.

Looking forward to seeing what else he adds to the catalog (the BSG stuff showed up like a day after my order) if this level of quality, customer support, and quick turn-around is his norm, I will definitely use him as my main resource from now on.

It's nice to see some items not previously available (given the extra work in shrinking, etc...)

But it's nice - and really impacts the positive feel for a purchase - to have another option for buying something already in stock.
