Hey.

I'm looking to pick up a digital camera. which model is best for the following:

Pics of 1/18 figures

Pics of 1/6 (12") figures

Pics of ebay stuff

Any advice would be appreciated.

Any camera that has a Macro setting, and I'd say at least 4 megapixels. With those two things, you'll be able to take some good pics of everything you listed, and the camera will run you under $200.

I've been more than happy with my Cannon Powershot S1IS...I think they're up to a 7mp S3IS now though

If you're not getting closeups of faces or flowers Macro is over-rated...you'll be better off with a good OPTICAL zoom, somthing like 8x or 10x minimum.

I'm looking for one as well, although I am leaning towards a digital camcorder that also has picture capabilities. They are available with pretty good resolution. I'll let you know the specs and cost when I decide on which one. Another option to think about.
