What advice do you have for this?

My first project will be modifying an astro viper helmet to look more like something a "gasser would wear"...

Can it be dyed afterwards...when I boil the plastic onto the part do I have to worry about warping it...how durable is it?

I am also going to be modding my extra DJ heads to look more "troop like"....how long do I boil the sculpy for and can it be dyed afterwards?

The plastic especialy the kind used on those helmets will probably warp before the sculpy completely dries. My sugestion would be to use Green Stuff epoxy instead of sculpy.
