I've seen a couple awesome articulation added customs involving the comic pack version. I'm using one for a different custom, and I was wondering if anyone has tried to swap out her arms (at the shoulder - not just adding the elbow articulation?

I don't see much of a seam to work with. Will the arms come out via boil and pop?

Yeah, the arms should come out with boil-n-pop. Most modern SW figures are molded as one piece, so they don't have an easy seam to work with like Joe figures. When you boil, make sure you have a flat-head screw driver or something similar to pry the arms out with, and when you pry, make sure you're prying the center disc of the arm joint, not just the sides (the softer plastic of the sides can tear).

Thanks Darko. I'm thinking I'm going to leave them in anyway, and just go with a paint scheme that addresses the rubbing I was concerned about with my custom. I don't have great alternative arms yet anyway, and these seem to be in there tight enough that I fear I'd mess up the arm or the torso if I mess with it too much.

My Talon's arms came out quite easily with boil and pop, no problems or issues.
